i've been paying attention to the cheap petrol prices in Sydney lateley and correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) in Sydney!

Combine this with the gift cards from the previous 5% off deal (if anyone hadn't used them all yet) and us ozbargainers are cheering!

Non-everyday rewards e10 price: 125.9c

        It's looking like that, but maybe with the extended school hols, they might delay it so they can max out the profits for the end of school hols.

      is it possible to lock in a fuel price using a fake gps on a phone??? i have tried but with no luck…. So for instance if i set my Fake gps for Brisbane and then try to use the 7 eleven app it picks it up and wont let me use the app

      No one in logan is game to pull into a servo incase they get carjacked which is why they can tease with low fuel prices!

    Probably not the best deal ever but certainly the best price I've seen in recent weeks at least in Sydney anyway. If there's a better price near you please post it for others, but otherwise the low cycle's probably nearing the end and worthwhile locking it in? Hope this at least helps someone.

    I have half a tank of fuel. Before the excise comes back on I was going to top up.

    The fuel is a few months old. Is it best to use it all up then get a whole new tank or is putting different aged fuel together not an issue?

      $1.39 at Metro in Gosford, or $1.379 at Metro in St. Marys. Almost 10¢/litre cheaper… so hardly “cheapest to date…”

          Still no price war after a week.

          So i just used my $1.61 fuel lock and topped up my fuel tank and filled up my reserve 120L jerry cans. Should have enough fuel for next 3 weeks. Fuel prices are not dropping . If it does drop, ill have cheap fuel in storage when it goes back up to over $1.80

          Saved myself over $30

      98 is usually a fixed amount above 91, like 20c or whatever.

    Petrol prices are at their highs in Sydney, except at some independents in Fairfield and South West Sydney and a smattering of places elsewhere. But in central Sydney, these couple of nearby petrol stations are having a stand-off at better than recent low prices, probably for not much longer.

    If you're on the convenient side of the road, best bang for buck is probably the Ampol EG where U91 is $1.829 and can be stacked with 4c Woolworths $30 spend and 10+% discount gift cards/Amex credit. Also good value is the 7-11 on the other side if you have discounted 7-11 gift cards.

      Early last week I paid $1.80/L today it's $2.30. (Sydney)

        Btw, it's not unknown for there to be 50c variation (in close proximity) on the same day. In fact in Granville right now U91 231.9 or 174.9, there's 57c/litre (almost $40 a tank) just to drive down the road

        This 7-11 is U98 @ 200.9 but all others are at like 250~. So you'll end up paying 225~ for them anyway.

          I know it sucks for most but depending where you live, there are still a few around the West/South which are selling 98 at ~21x

      I regularly get fuel from the Apex servo there, usually 95 (the pumps are on the same machine as Diesel making this difficult) or 98 if I don't want to wait any longer.

      Seems wherever there is a Speedway or Apex the petrol prices are significantly lower.

        I use iAnygo now for spoofing - do a google search for the reg key that resets the 2 use trial.

        Also need a VPN that has state based gateways as 7/11 seems to look at if you're in that state or not when locking

    anyone on the Sth Gold Coast, the servo's near Varsity Station are still cheap. With Pearl Energy on Scottsdale Dr leading the charge with $1.845 for U91 (2c extra for 711 & Ampol).
