Any deal for class 10 fast-speed 32/64gb SD card Rep?

    • +1

Kingston 64GB Class 10 MicroSD with SD Adapter - $36 Free Shipping

Wouldn't that work? It comes with a SD adapter afterall

      • +2

Personally prefer a standard SD card for a DSLR, thanks:)

        • +2

Don't have a good deal on the Standard SD cards yet. Would this Samsung Pro Series 32GB MicroSD with SD Adapter @ $24.95 Free Shipping
swing you over? If so, i'll add it in.

          Cheers
          SE

        • That's what I was wondering, is standard SD card better for DSLR over Micro+adapter?

        • +1

          @Lord_Sif:

Of course yes, even the ones from same brand with same specs, the full size SD card wins over micro SD(within an adapter) by its stability and consistancy when using them in a DSLR. You would feel that obviously while burst shooting or HD video recording.

        • +1

@ShoppingExpress: Thanks for that, Rep, honesty I've got so many micro SDs.. Thanks.

        • +1

          @ShoppingExpress:
I am interested in getting the 64gb samsung pro microsd card.

        • @DJcap: me too

        • I am also in the market for a 32/64gb SD card. I'd prefer not to use a microSD either

        • @ShoppingExpress:

Please give us a deal on the 64gb samsung pro microsd pleaaaaseee

Which is the fastest shipping to 2000?

  • +1

Very good price on the G1, but wished you stocks the msi

    • +1

Will keep that in mind - might happen in near future.

      • Hi Rep wished you also have this PickYourPath bundle

        • You'd have to buy from one of the listed countries from your link, Australia isn't one of them so it's unlikely SE or anyone else in Australia would be able to offer it.

        • +1

          @IceCreamBandit:

I think PCCG offers it. Usually with these amd and nvidia promotions they always leave out Australia on the official sites, but retailers here still offer it. Some retailers i should say.

      • +2

Shame you can't do the same price on the ASUS Strix, would love another for SLI goodness

  • +1

Has Samsung properly fixed the Evo slowdown bug yet? Or is it still a slightly dodgy workaround?

    • +1

Firmware update come out for it over a month ago.

      • +2

Yes thanks, I bothered to properly read the release and the fix seems permanent.

    • +2

It's been fixed with new firmware

Just look for Samsung SSD 840 EVO Performance Restoration Software on that link

  • +3

    Little underwhelmed SE with your effort compared with last years sale;
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/123441

There are still some nice pricing in what has been listed tho!

    • +8

I can squeeze a few more deals into today's post - give me a moment. Do you guys want to help me build the list? I can base on votes on the suggested products and try my best to feature them :P.

      Cheers

Discount on GTX 9 series cards of other brands(Asus,Msi,Evga), thanks!

        • +4

+1 for a deal on the Asus 970

        • +3

@groook: ASUS 970 or the MSI, what ever one you can work the price on, both seem to be very solid revisions!

        • @yacman: Don't think they stock the MSI. The EVGA they have looks nice though.

        • +1

          @unknown: quite whining

(excuse the pun based on the fact that there have been many reports of coil whine in the EVGA 970s

        • @madmouse58: Apart from what you said, I believe the problem of coil whine is quite common among GTX 970s, no matter what manufacturers are, almost every brand has been reported of this issue by users.

        • +1

@May23: oh wow I will have to look into this as I am very keen for one very soon and that sounds like an annoying issue, is it covered by warranty?

        • @yacman: I don't think so. I don't think it actually affects performance of the card. I could be wrong though.

      • I'd love to see a Asus T100 @399 like you did for the last Trifecta (GF has changed her mind again and therefore we missed the Trifecta)

      • +4

        WD Reds :)

      • +2

        Samsung EVO 840 500gb SSD :D

      • +2

        Intel NUC i3 or i5.

        • I too would like to see an Intel NUC i3 or perhaps the Gigabyte Brix 2955U discounted.

        • +1 for an i5 NUC

      • Id love to see a g3258 aggressively discounted, or maybe a decent bundle with a mobo.
        Thanks.

      • 2k 24" monitor

      • Any deals on non-SSD hard drives? I need a cheap 1TB internal drive.

  • +2

    …NAS…hint hint

  • +2

    I'm tempted with the SSD…
    I don't need one….

    • +1

      500gb SSD and I'll bite!

  • Can you do sales on 64gb Samsung class 10 MicroSD please!

  • samsung 840 evo 1tb $449 is same price like other computer stores not much of a sale

    • The cost have gone up for Samsung 1TB SSD - you can see when comparing to MSY, PCCG etc. Even if a few places are putting $449, it does not include shipping fee & not sure if they actually have stock. I just clicked on PCDIY out of interest and i can't seem to find the listing for it.

      Cheers
      SE

      • +1

PCDIY have stock and can pickup in store

        • +1

Pick-up in store when you can get free shipping straight to your door? This ain't the 80s no more!

  • +1

G1 for $449 hmm very attemping! my 7870 tahiti cannot handle COD11 on 1080P highest setting

  • Nice pricing for local stock but nothing really fantastic here IMO. On the past weekend MSY had 10% off gigabyte products, i.e. selling the 970 gaming for $449 and 980 gaming for $720. IMO wait for the upcoming black friday sales

    • -2

The 970 and 980 were out of stock in most of the stores with the promo. Doubt these cards will go on sale during bf/cm coz Amazon stock still selling out regularly

      • Both cards were and are still in stock at 90% of MSY stores. There are many 970/980 cards on amazon varying from standard, OC and gaming models. But anyways, thanks for creating an OZ account to comment on my post. Welcome :).

    • Gonna be hard to have black friday deals on these cards when they're almost always out of stock on Amazon and Newegg.

  • Rep, can you please do sales on samsung nx30 camera again? :D I missed out the previous one :(

  • +2

Hi Rep, any chance of a deal on WD Red 4TB or 6TB? :D

  • +1

Hey Rep is the kingston 64gb micro sd retail or bulk packaging?

    • Hi Riczter,

      Retail packaging :)

      cheers
      SE

      • +2

        Thanks, purchased.

      • wats the difference between retail and bulk packing?

  • +2

Hi Rep, just wondering if the Samsung Evo 840 500gb SSD could be added to that list please? Thanks!

  • The price difference between a GTX 970 vs 980 is about $300…is it really worth that big of a premium!?

    • +5

      nope!

    • +2

If you have to ask…it's not worth it!

  • Thanks SE. Been waiting 3 weeks for you to post another SSD deal!

    • +2

      u are welcome :).

  • I'm after the Samsung EVO 840 120GB MZ-7TE120BW if you could include that would be great

  • +1

Deal on a 27" ASUS ROG Swift G-sync monitor? :)

  • Amazon has the 970 G1 for $425AU delivered. When it is in stock, which is quite often. I have been keeping an eye on it ;)

    • +2

at that price difference I would prefer to get it locally.

  • Any Chance at a 64 gig Samsung micro sd deal?

    • It will be featured in future dates, not today.

  • does the GTX 970 comes with the Free Game?

    • No.

      • how do we know if it does or doesn't. I went on amazon and it says you do for aud430 with shipping included.

        • If you're referring to the Pick Your Path bonus it is only available to certain countries (Australia is not one of them) so you most likely won't get it if you buy from SE. Rep can feel free to correct me here.

Your Amazon listing must be coming from Amazon US or UK or one of the participating countries.

Cheesecactus suggested in a comment above that some local retailers may offer it, but I've seen nothing that verifies the claim.

  • Rep you got any ssd replacement kits for Macbook Pro? Specifically 13" retina models?

  • +2

    Asus router deal please
