Good deal, I bought one for $38.95 with shipping when Shoppingquare had their deal on the same thing just a few weeks ago.

  • Does this qualify free shipping if buy more than $100 and pay by Amex? If so works out to be approx $28 each after Amex crappy exchange rate if you buy 4.

I am waiting for Samsung tanks to go on speciial

    • Ah man if this qualified for Amazon's free shipping I totally would've bought one!

  • just commenting:
i find it hard to fill up 32gb microsd on my phone, so i guess anyone that bought 64/128gb is mostly "buy because i can" or "buy because its cheap for me" not because "i need that capacity".
well, of course everyone has TB TB of data at home./server but put 64gb them in a mobile, thats just too much.

    • Or you know..they do actually use it..

Besides, it's not just mobiles, tablets also use them. Not to mention the Surface Pros. So yah, I think a computer could use the storage.

Would this go into a compact camera? Canon Powershot s120

        • what wonderboy4 said;

Would this go into a compact camera?

          ie; Sony Cybershot TX30

        • +1

Most cameras take SD cards, so yeah, with the included adapter, it'll work fine.

You've obviously never used an iPod? :P

      • +1

yeah never own that original ipod lol.
but probably tonight i will try fill my 32gb with more mp3s
already has one full session of a tv show.

Just because you can't/won't/don't doesn't mean others shouldn't/wouldn/t/could't

My 64GB microSD is constantly full due to MP3s and taking 4k vids/pics…

    • +1

If you have music on your phone in uncompressed format 32gb goes pretty quick.

      • i tried listen to same song one is flac one is mp3 but cant really tell the difference, using harman kardon (or sony) headphones. and yes i think my phone (note 2, lg g pro 2) supports flac

        • Even if they are really the same, at least you know it is lossless, without always worrying and wondering 'would it sound better lossless'. I have it all as .wav and it's 10x the size but I don't think about it anymore.

    • More devices than simply your mobile phone can accept a microSD card, and possibly even more with an adaptor, e.g. a camera. So, as another commenter has mentioned above, just because you don't require that capacity, doesn't mean others don't.

    • I have 50GB of music (even converting it down to 128kbs (eugh) to make it fit). I also have a heap of photos, videos, apps, and documents. I need a 128GB. Just because you don't doesn't mean others don't.

    • I regularly find my 32gb full because when I go camping, overseas. I like to load it up with shows to watch. After getting the xiaomi powerpacks I find my content unable to match up to the battery life, which makes my phone and its extended power mostly useless to me (on the plane).

    • Easy: FLAC files for Fiio's.

  • can this be used on 3ds?

    • Would also like to know this.

    • +1

Yeah will need adapter and format to fat32 though

      • +2

Since the New 3DS takes MicroSD I would only need to Format it then ?

        • haven't tried personally, but i assume so..

        • Yes, did it last night. Opening the back lid is a bit fiddly though. You can also copy the files across from the original microsd card.

    • Is this a fake though

      • Waiting the answer from the seller

Buyer beware - I bought one from ebay, reputable seller, had to return the first one because it wouldn't take more than approx 6gb of data. Also copying to it was extremely slow.

Received a second one - same issues.

Considered it a write off and bought a Sandisk Extreme Plus from Amazon

        • Because its a 8gb card thats made to look like a higher capacity card.

There are too many fakes going around, and that particular ebay seller had this as a feed back for his only feedback on the SD card.

Great communication, offered refund immediately off misleading info a***y ( 45Yellow star icon for feedback score in between 10 to 49) During past month

      • Ah I accidentally negged the deal, how do I remove it?

Edit: fixed, but now I can't up it :/

    • +3

So 2 dollar more to deal with an ebayer and supposedly "local" stock.

Or save the 2 bucks, get a micro-sd to sd adaptor, and deal with the worlds largest online retailer with excellent customer service?

      Decisions decisions.

  • Does Samsung have international warranty on these things?

This Transcend Information USB 3.0 Card Reader is a good companion for anyone needing one. Has SD and MicroSD slots (though in the side which can be undesirable to some. Cheap at $6.49 USD, piggy back the shipping cost.

      • That's pretty cool (was originally looking for a tiny one), might get one thanks :)

  • I suppose the above listed price is based on a 28 degrees conversion? I bought it using my cba mc and was charged $35.99.

    • time to get a citi debit card.

      • Wow I thought that was only for credit cards! (don't want more cc's)
I can get a debit card to save money on all my Amazon purchases, nice.

  • Will go well with my Surface 2, from the MS sale the other week.
Bought using 28 Deg, of course.

  • Would this card be okay for Samsung Galaxy S5
If not what is best card?
    Ron

    • it will be fine

  • Will this be good for the nokia lumia 530?

  • Bought 2 thanks!

  • Long time Ozbarginer reader, figured it was time to create my account and contribute.
Bought 2 which came to $AUD64.02 using Bankwest Zero Platinum Card.
    Thanks!

  • thanks for sharing original poster, i also took advantage of this offer

  • Can anyone tell me if this card is good enough for Note 4 or Edge? Would the Pro version (with double the speed) be a better option?
    http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electronics-Adapter-MB-MG64DA-…

    • This card is better than good enough for a Note 4.

"The maximum available resolution videos (UHD or 2160p) carry the highest bitrate among the pack - almost 50Mbps."
      http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_4-review-1147p8.…

      4K video 50Mbps = ~5MB/s, and this card can write at ~48MB/s.

You could go a slower cheaper card and still have heaps of headroom for the most demanding task the phone can do.

This is a great buy though, performance and price wise.

  • Managed to order the Pro version of this a few days ago on sale for $40 USD delivered from Amazon, I wanted the ~90MB/s to install window apps onto a tablet PC. There is also a PNY ~90MB/s still on sale for under $30 USD.

    • Which tablet?

Most devices use a USB2 bus interface for the SD card reader so it won't matter if you get a 45 or 90 MB/s card.

  • Thanks OP!

Just ordered a 64GB and 32GB card for $42.59 USD shipped

  • Thanks, just bought 2
