Refurbished Nexus 7 (2012) + Nexus 4 Bundle 8G/16G USD $159.99/$179.99 + USD$30 Shipping @ Expansys USA

180

I just saw this bundle deal early this morning. I reckon it is a great deal since both devices have got Lollipop update.

16G: http://www.expansys-usa.com/google-nexus7-tablet-and-nexus4-…

Comments:
I've almost placed the order, then I saw the final price was AUD $253 (Why is AUD dropping so much recently…. :(), which made me hesitated a little bit.

The Refurbished Nexus 7 16GB on Expansys AU is currently $92, while you might get a Nexus 4 at about $150 from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/167236.

Anyway, this is not an amazing deal. But for those of you who happen want to buy a phone and a tablet, it would be an optional choice. Also not bad for a Xmas gift idea.

If it is 2012 model, then it is crap deal. I got refurbished 2013 Nexus 7 32Gb for $159 from Wireless1 a few months ago.

Edit: Oh I see it is both Nexus 7 tablet AND Nexus 4 phone. It is OK deal then.

You should remove the neg then

          Thanks.
Just for record - I did not neg edfoo's comment above
However I did report his Neg vote (as invalid) to the mods

  • Just get the Nexus 7 2013 from Amazon if you can, for a bit more, but much better tablet.

Edit: Sorry, I did not realised that it also includes the Nexus 4.

Good deal OP - lets hope we'll see a similar deal for "Nexus 5 + Nexus 7 2013" this time next year :)

Hmmm, I'm rather wanting the Z3 compact to hit the $89 range as the Z6 gets announced :-p

        Yeah, like in 2020

        • you will be surprized….

        • @gunnny: seriously no need to neg.

Instead promising a surprise why don't you quote the a current value on a flagship phone that has 5 years depreciation, or there abouts?

Relevant info from previous Nexus 4 deal: www.ozbargain.com.au/node/167236

  • 1.2 GHz and 1.3 MP camera = 2012. I was going to diss the deal down due to the only 16 Gig [ no sdcard slot on nexus] and no 4G, and the headline is a bit ambiguous [split on RAM, not phone/tablet], but as a bundle, selling for about what Kogan wants for the Nexus 4 alone, and still a nice unit for those not needing the latest wizz-bang tech but wanting a decent device.

Compared to grabbing a cheapy tablet and a reasonable phone just before Xmas, this gives you a fairly usable pair if you can't wait for the end of January clear-outs when we are finally tempted with USB3 on our trinkets…

it's really too bad i don't need either of these.

Heresy! Since when did that matter….

  • Was just wondering what country should I select when checking out, Europe or rest of the world?

    • +1

      do you live in Europe?

      • Well….for the rest of the world option only shows Middle East and Far East which neither does Australia belong to…

I was just asking people for past experiences, maybe u should check out those options Ursula before trolling…..lol

        • I would choose Middle East.

  • Thnx
