Boycott this scumbag company. Never again purely on principal. Even if they offer $49 off $50, ill put my time, energy, money and support into taking advantage of other more honest companys efforts to increase their database and patronage.

  • +6

Yep never buying from them again

  • +7

I log in just to let them I will boycott everything they list no matter what discount they advertise as they will probably cancel it thereafter so NO THANKS; NEVER again Ezibuy….they are time wasters as far as I am concerned.

  • +7

They never delivered my items and took weeks to refund my payment. Avoid this dodgy company.

fyi: big w is now transforming into ezibuy
      http://www.bigw.com.au/delivery
Your Big W order will be delivered to you by EziBuy.

better to buy directly in big w store imo, because for anything online you have to send the item back to ezibuy to get refund (after they deduct delivery fee, of course!)

      Returning a product purchased online

Your BIG W online order will be delivered to you by EziBuy - EziBuy is now part of the Woolworths Ltd family and will be handling your order from their state of the art distribution warehouse.

If you need to return your item(s), take advantage of EziBuy's EziReturns process. If this is not convenient, you can return the item you have purchased online to any BIG W Store store, where a store associate will assist you with the returns process. If you have any questions about your Big W return or exchange, call one of our friendly Customer Service Representatives on 1300 244 999.

      • Maybe it will work the other way and Woolworth's ownership might make things better? I was always impressed with how the BigW online store worked. Maybe that management is now in charge of EziBuy? Wishful thinking?

        • have you checked big w online recently?

I'm surprised by all of the negative comments and annoyed by the neg when their comment indicates that they are negging because of other comments and not through personal experience. I've bought from ezibuy in the past as have people I know, not many orders but I would guess around 6-10 orders and I've never had an issue.

"I'm surprised by all of the negative comments and annoyed by the neg when their comment indicates that they are negging because of other comments and not through personal experience."

That is absolute BS reka. I see about 10 comments above indicating negative personal experiences, and only ONE indicating that the commenter will not trust the company based on the advice/experiences recounted by others in this forum here… and actually, there is nothing wrong with someone reading a whole lot of negative 'reviews' here, then deciding not to trust the offer, and negging.

Here's the issue from my point of view.

We've got a great community here at Ozbargain sharing deals, quite often some of these deal skirt or completely clash with what are fairly reasonable terms and conditions (for example a $20 off code with a $20 minimum spend that was sent to specific customers that is then abused by hundreds of people).
Sometimes businesses let these go and other times they have to clamp down if they are losing far too much money on a deal that is being blatantly abused (don't forget the times when ozbargainers sign up multiple accounts to further abuse the system).

Again I haven't had negative experiences from Ezibuy and have been a customer, I know others in the same situation. At times due to the nature of Ozbargain we miss out on deals, members seem to be getting a bit entitled and they need to be more understanding at times.

I'd like to point out that ezibuy (to my knowldege) have only cancelled orders that were account specific, many other companies do the same thing and don't cop this kind of treatment.

Ah, but you oversimplify the issue reks. The reason why peeps are so unhappy with 'EZIBUY' is that they had so much of their time wasted by the company's completely flawed online 'system' (or the company's apparent indifference about the entire affair, or both). EZIBUY continued to accept orders/ the code/ etc. for way too long, inexplicably, given that they subsequently just cancelled all the orders.

Your comment that "many other companies do the same thing and don't cop this kind of treatment" is not correct.

'HelloFresh' copped the same 'treatment', for a similar (protracted) display of inexcusable incompetence.
'Staples' did not, because they corrected their error in a reasonably timely manner (i.e. a few hours), apologised appropriately for it, refunded promptly, and most importantly, actually honoured some of the orders, even though it meant essentially delivering quality goods to peeps for free.

@GnarlyKnuckles: and they keep your details, and spam bothyour email and street letterbox with their cheap wares. And when they cancel your orders, their tone is that of you are a cheat for entering a code that their website accepts. BOYCOTT
