    while stocks last..

ha! I do not think the spudshed will run out of spuds. I think they can afford a measly 1kg per customer.

I'm sure there will be some more worthwhile bargains on offer as well. It might be time to get a tray of mangoes?

They sell them $1.99 for 4kg, so I guess you are saving 50 cents…

Great to know they're opening up in Innaloo now

Blimey… Innaloo is gonna be even harder to get in and out of now.

    • Yeah. Live around the corner.
Traffic is bad enough as it is.

      • Almost as bad as Canberra?

        • +1

I dunno about canberra but on a Saturday that place is a nightmare!!!

Westfields, Spud Shed and an Ikea all on the same street with only one road in and out.

  • When they were on TT a few weeks back they did say how many ton available, think they said 50

  • Love Spudshed - been going to the Kelmscott one since it opened a few months ago - well worth the 20min. drive to get there ( we live near Kalamunda). The savings are great i.e. Potatoes 49c kg., carrots 29c kg, lettuce 29c ea. mangoes 69c ea.
Wish they would open up in Midland - however a staff member has told us that it is on the cards - can't wait.
They have certainly let the cat amongst the pigeons with the 3 other major retailers we have to normally shop with.
Also can't wait until Aldi arrives in Perth. Bring it on - it's about time the other major 3 had some serious competition.

    • Aldi is a bit further at Joondies though.

I use to drive to the one at Karel Ave… until it became tedious, so having a local SpudShed is great. Especially with the Subi markets closing.

      • Surely Aldi will not stop at only Joondalup - they are opening another 120 stores around the country - so would sincerely hope that Perth areas have more than 1 - time will tell - but hope to keep posted on more news. Also Costco, which I haven't heard mentioning being opened in Perth at all.

        • They won't but it is only at Joondies for now though.

          Can't wait though…

        • Aldi will be opening a store just near innaloo megaplex (Event cinemas) in the future. When that is exactly though I do not know.

        • @jenawabz:

          -_-

I am gonna hate Innaloo now… all these places only really have one road going in and out of them.

          Ellen Stirling Blvd for Westfields/SpudShed/Ikea

Leige St for Aldi and the Cinemas.

Sigh… I hate traffic. But I guess if the prices are right then it is a tradeoff that we have to manage.

  • Traffic around the area tonight was very busy! The large carpark outside the front of SpudShed (which normally has about 10 cars) was 100% full.

  • Not long getting back from there.
    Very busy at 9pm/9.30 still

We got the free bag of spuds on the way in. (had brother with me, so we got given 2 bags)

Had more checkout operators than probably 3 or 4 woolworths/coles stores.

About 12 or so I think. All operating and busy.

2litres of juice (golden circle) for 49cents each.
