As the title states, games with gold have been announced for December.

From the website;

For the month of December, Xbox Live Gold members will receive three new free games on Xbox One and Xbox 360 as part of the Games with Gold program.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Worms Battlegrounds ($24.99 ERP) for free during the month of December.

On Xbox 360, starting Monday, December 1st, The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief ($9.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through December 15th.

as noted below by rightguy, The Raven is not on the Aus marketplace, so expect a substitute game locally. Will correct once I find details

Then on December 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download SSX ($19.99 ERP) for free through December 31st.

    Be aware that these are likely not Australian prices - prepare to be reminded that we don't live in the USA when the prices are twice as high :(

      Sorry - yes, $US prices.

      But for XBOne digital games you can buy from the US (or other regions) with an Aussie Xbox account. All you need is billing details attached for that country, and a valid payment method (either CC or prepaid Xbox currency).

      You can get US prices, just adjusting for the exchange rate.

  Also if you were an early adopter of the XB1 check your account email you may have been given a free game code for Limbo.

  Be aware that The Raven is unavailable on the Australian Xbox marketplace so we will be getting a different game for free at the beginning of the month over here than the rest of the world (probably a good thing as I own The Raven and it's not all that great and has the worst worst control scheme you could ever imagine for an adventure game on the Xbox)

    Just download both like I did this month. Volgarr the Viking plus Powerstar Golf. Just have to change the region setting on the Xbox One itself.

      Noob question how do you change the region setting and can you do it unlimited times?

      I haven't been able to see volgarr anywhere on my xbox but managed to purchase it on xbox.com

      Volgarr / Powerstar were for XBOne, where you can region-hop with an Aussie profile (you just need billing details for that country, which can be added to your Aussie profile).

      The Raven is a X360 game. To download it you'll need a foreign account (eg. a US profile). The 360 is tighter with its store region-locking.
