    • Hi 89tnp

Sorry, unfortunately we will not be able to provide any further discount - as you can appreciate this is already heavily discounted.

  • thanks! just bought one for my trip to the US over new years. I'll be buying a new phone which I'll use in the US, so wondering if I could just send my current phone's IMEI to you for activation?

    • +2

      Hi assailantsky

If you arriving in the USA in month of December - we will not need your IMEI number. If you are arriving in January onwards - then you can provide your updated IMEI number closer to date.

      • Great. I'll be arriving in Dec. I did not put my IMEI number in the checkout. Thanks again!

    • I'm literally in the exact same position as you haha

  • How long do these cards last for? would i be able to use it in November 2015 if i ordered it now?

    • How long do these cards last for? would i be able to use it in November 2015 if i ordered it now?

      Just read the OP's post.

"Your sim card must be activated by 31 March 2015. If you are traveling after this period - we advise that you purchase a sim card closer to the date."

  • OP.

My friend is buying now for his family. Total 4 SIMs

    1) It seems he has to make two orders, because he needs 2xNanno SIms and 2xMicro SIMs. Is there anyway around this?

    2) They arrive in USA December 27th - does he have to supply all 4 IMEI numbers now? His children are asleep with phones in their rooms.

    Thanks.

    • A3Australia

      1) Yes. Once he has selected the 2 nanos sim cards, then when he goes to the checkout - he needs to select "Continue Shopping", hence this will allow him to add the 2xMicro sims to the order.

      2) No he doesn't. As he is arriving in the month of December, we do not require the IMEI number, hence he can just go ahead and purchase the sim cards.

  • Just returned from the USA using one of these. Have to say they're great value. T-Mobile won't give you as good reception as AT&T but in most cities and towns you should be ok. None in the mountains (Yosemite, Grand Canyon) which I wasn't expecting anyway. Although at that point I switched to roaming on my Vodafone Red Sim and was surprised the AT&T signal was useable! Note however that T-mobile reception will depend on your device too. I had a ZTE T12 using this sim as a hotspot and it didn't work very well, even in Anaheim. Switched the SIM to my Galaxy Note 3 and it was ok for the rest of the trip. The Sim was working at LAX as soon as I inserted it, and kept working for exactly 30 days.

REP: Just wondering whether I'm able to keep my number for future use or will it expire?

    • Hi thaiiy

Yes you will be able to keep the same phone number as long as you top up once every 4 months. Therefore as your 4 months are about to expire - if you go on to the T-Mobile website and add $10 to your account this should keep your number active for another 4 months and so on. Then when you go back to USA you can use the credit. Hopefully that helps.

  • Free USA T-Mobile Sim Card … what :p ?

    • Cause normally they charge like US$10 for the sim itself (without any credit)

  • If I'm in the US for say 120 days, how do I go about activating 4 sim cards to get continuous coverage?

Do I nominate activation dates for each of the 4 cards?

    • Yes you will need to nominate a different activation date for each sim card.

  • Bought 2 for our trip to US in 3 weeks!

  • sounds like a good deal… how do these work in Hawaii? is the reception good, on all the islands? also travelling around mid jan to around mid feb.. not sure if, when/where a imei needs to be supplied?

    • hi tsandu

On the main islands you will get good receptions. However on other parts, data will be patchy however you should see get call service. You can check out T-Mobiles coverage map (http://www.t-mobile.com/coverage.html) to determine if it will be suitable for you.
You can purchase the sim card now and provide the IMEI closer to the date of your travel.

  • Drats, I travel late April 2015 so will miss out on the latest activation date of 31st March. Any chance of extending the deal for a month? ;_;

    • Hi futongus,

Unfortunately, we can't extend this present deal till April.

However, please keep an eye out for any future deals since usually the activation date will end up being pushed back to a later date.
