How about Costco Deals then? Those are also exclusive to members. I think it is a decent bargain for ENT otherwise members might not notice it in forums.

        +1 to this
I havent received an email, but have now claimed my 'unique' code

        • Me too, thanks a lot OP!

        • +6

me three, Ozb does a better job of availing me of my entitlements than the companies theoretically serving their loyal members

        • Same here - no email, got code. thanks OP!

        • @warwickjames: how did u get the code, i did not get any mail. thanks

    • +9

Same applies to all the Amex deals that require you to be a cardholder.

  • Clicked through the link & went into my EB account where I was provided a unique code. Very easy. Thanks OP!

EDIT: Just got same EB email.

  • Is there any free delivery code?
Realised can Click & Collect as well

    • yes.. but these vouchers prohibit u from combining codes

  • Great deal OP!

  • Thanks!

      … for a $869 $858 $815.50 $773.65 iPhone 6 :-)
      (or $696.29 if claiming TRS)

      • +2

how do you use this deal for WW online to buy a phone at BIG W?

        • +2

Hmmm, good point. Maybe wait for a merger?

        • @muncan: Lol

    • never mind - I misunderstood

    • Do they work at woolworth too or only BigW?

      • Yes they work at WW too (read comments on the other post).

    • there is no where to put promotion code from this deal into the 7.5% gift card portal. It's a different website from ww-online right?

      • +2

I think you misunderstand how they can stack?

        1. Buy a Big W egift card at 7.5% discount using your EB membership
        2. Enter your unique code issued by EB into WW online, bringing a $100 grocery basket down to ~$80 total
        3. Pay the ~$80 total using the Big W egift card
        • Can confirm this worked perfectly.

If you sign-up as a new member at Woolworths you can also get a further 10% off and free shipping.

Note: The checkout wasn't accepting my gift card when copy+pasting the card number. Worked fine after manually typing it in.

  • What is the cheapest way to get entertainment book membership to buy the egift cards?

I need to buy something for $850 from masters I am wondering if its worth getting entertainment book to get 7.5% off the gift cards rather than the 5% with cash rewards? I am using the 10% coupon as well.

    • 850*(7.5%-5%) = 21.25. Not worth forking out for a membership which is generally around the $50 mark.

      • Will the 7.5% be ongoing? If I buy a $2000 gift card before december then the membership is free I guess.

        • not ongoing. usually it's 5% wish gift cards. never 7.5% in the last 2-3 years :)

      • I wouldn't buy it just for the discounted gift cards, but if you use a couple of the 2-for-1 dinner vouchers and it'll soon be worth it.

We buy two books every year, and they pay themselves off 5 times over.

      Try: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/172956

It looked like it was for existing members, but now looks like anyone could buy.
If you use a few other vouchers, could be worth your while.

See whole books here - or use Search

      • thanks danyool :) i have just purchased the book, its gonna arrive in 5 days, so untill then i cant use this coupon right?

        • +1

No, probably not, because you would need the member number to register, but you've got a bit of time on the deal.

        • @danyool: missed reading this
Offer valid for orders placed from 00:01 AEDT 04/12/2014 to 23:59 AEDT 17/12/2014.
thanks, hopefully i receive mine in 7 working days :) its should be home by 12th latest i hope

      • Would a new member get this $20 off woolworths offer? Thanks

        • +1

Yes. Once you have a paid EB account, just use the OP's link and it will ask you to log in.
Then just claim the $20 code.

  • only can apply 1 code :)

  • +1

I havent used mine yet but
Can someone post their code once they have used it? to check if it is a generic one.
Also, has anyone checked if the code can be used multiple times.

    • They are in the same format (8 characters) as the codes issued through the Groupon Deal. The codes will be unique so it's a bit pointless posting them.

    • +3

Yes looks like you can use the code more than once but not with the same account.

      • +1

I reckon there should be a wiki started where everyone who wants to help fellow ozbargainers can post their code after they have used themselves (or even before if they don't intend to use it by the 17/12 deadline, shame to see such a discount goes to waste).

  • +1

The problem with these woolies online deals is if you go over $100, the $11 delivery fee is waived BUT, if you throw in a voucher, the delivery fee is back. So the voucher is only worth $9.

    • Click n collect?

      • +2

yeah click and collect solves that - note not all woolies do click and collect

    • -2

well, you know, for $9 could I be bothered going to the shops - expanded < getting in the car, driving to the shops, wrangling numerous cartons out of the shop, into the car, driving home, wrangling into the house … phew …

      probably not

  • +1

Just used mine. Never used Woolworths online before so I got a 10% new user discount and it stacked with this one. over $35 discount.

It also works for alcohol so I ordered two slabs of beer.

Used my Amex-discounted Dan Murphy gift cards to pay.

    Very happy!

  • +1

Thanks for the link OP. Got my code instantly by email and it works. Even retained the free delivery for new member in thier first month despite balance owing dropping from $104 to $84. Will be using BigW $100 eGift card bought for $92.50 from current Ent Book offer. Took a few hours to turn up but can be used for WW online as it says:

"….has sent you a Woolworths eGift Card!
    should work at Woolworths on-line
Click here to access your eGift Card
Your eGift Card can be redeemed in-store and online at participating Woolworths Limited Group stores.
For a list of participating stores, please visit everydaygiftcards.com.au
Thank you from the Woolworths Money Team."

have used mine, if anyone want to try using it, pm :)

    • Hi Tinx, don't know how to PM..haha

  • +1

If anyone needs a code, please PM me. I have an unused code and don't think I will be using it. However there is a condition, you need to be an active member of OzBargain, and would have already posted a number of deals. In other words, if you have never posted a deal on here, sorry but I won't give you the code.

    • Code is now taken.

  • FYI despite this saying it ends 'before the 17th' the T's and C's show 23:59 17th Dec as the expiry date
