And I'm guessing that the cheapest way to unlock those phones are through Bag Man for $15?

    • +1

I too want to know how much anything over $2 kills it for me.

  • Chicken breast goujons and prawn gyoza just in time for the Entertaining Season!!!!

  • Even with unlock fee good back up or out of zone phone. Could be useful for street maps? Good call and thanks Must use bagman

Anyone wanting the Telstra Roamer immediately can get it at Harvey Norman for $12 http://www.harveynorman.com.au/telstra-roamer-116a-pre-paid-…

Another decent prepaid phone is the Nokia 208 for $19 which Trent mentioned in an earlier deal http://www.harveynorman.com.au/pre-paid-nokia-208-3g-mobile-…

That's $2 More which is big money in OZB Terms :)

My comment was aimed at those that needed one asap and couldn't wait till the Coles catalogue started.

        • +1

lol I think people can wait 2 days :)

        • +1

@TRENT86: Yes, especially if it means not buying from Gerry.

    • Pre-Paid Nokia 208 3G - which carrier is that? Telstra or VODA

  • thnx

  • At the bottom of the ad it says "for unlocking fees see optus.com/unlock"

Are these phones Telstra or Optus ?

    • +2

      lol your kidding right?

    • The Optus Prepaid SONY Xperia E1 is the one that is unlocked through optus.
The Prepaid-Cruise, Pre-paid Elite Wi-Fi and Pre-Paid Roamer is unlocked through Telstra. (Or unlocked through Bag Man)

  • Do all 3 of these $10 phones/wifi dongle come with a SIM card? Or do u have to get it separately

Can the wifi dongle sim receive texts if put in a phone?

$10 for a phone with Internet- I feel old and outdated. :-)

    • +1

the sim is a sim, and yes even if activated as a broadband sim, you can still sms with it (Telstra software on your PC even allows to you send/receive via it.

      • thanks Supa brudda!

  • These Telstra prepaids used to come with $10 credit - does that still happen?

or do you need to buy credit for first use?

    • it's usually $30 (expires in 30days) so just set it up & creditume across

  • Will a Boost sim work in these phones without unlocking?

  • Did anyone else click this link and say to themselves, "flippin book"?

  • Which is better this Telstra wifi modem($10 with 1gb) or Vodafone pocket wifi ($19 with 3gb)?
I don't need that much of data, only interested on the wifi modem. Any idea?

  • If I have a 4G USB wifi modem on a contract, can I swap the SIM from that to this Teltra unit in order to service other devices?

Right now, it can only service the laptop it's plugged into?

    Cheers
