Dick smith is $229 and was $179 a week or 2 ago

    • True, but Dick did stuff a few people around. I hope everyone had their issues sorted out.

      • Dick did not honour the deal and claim that only one headphone if applied 20 discount, refund processed…..

      • One of the guys at the Sydney CBD store said that the deal only applied if you bought it in-store rather than online. What a joke of an employee…

      • I had an issue: they only sent one pair. Had a chat on the phone and they admitted the error and sent the second pair. This is when it was $248 for two.

But great headphones, especially impressive for bluetooth. Just ordered som around the ear pads, as the on ear get quite uncomfortable after a while.

  • I bought these earlier in the week, very good for their price point.Obviously there are headphones that are better at noise cancelling, but not at $140.

They are quite comfortable to wear, the sound quality is good.

    • $279 is a rip. I got 2 pairs for $199 from Dick Smith! Decent noise cancelling for $100 per pair!

Im going to get a pair, but videopro has them for $226 with a bonus set as well and free shipping

  • I've heard that BT headphones usually introduce lag… How do these perform? Lips still in sync?

    • My BoseSoundlink BT speakers don't lag, but my PioneerA3 Wifi speakers do… I think BT outperforms Wifi.

These will have about 100ms (or 1/10th of a second) worth of latency, as opposed to other headphones which could have up to ~500ms worth of latency.

The feature you're looking for in Bluetooth headphones when you want low latency is "AptX", which is the official Bluetooth spec for low-latency audio.

  • All the Dick Smith stores around Canberra were out of stock, so I went to the nearby JB Hi-Fi and asked if they could match.

No questions asked - got the bundle for $220. Receipt
