If what it stated to offer 44348 prizes is true, literally it should give away thousands of prizes everyday, this is like half give away LOL!

  In these type of competitions nobody knows how many they really give to the customers. It is hard to implement an algorithm to distribute the prizes equally across the time when you can't predict the number of users. I believe Optus did give away 44348 prizes based on how many vouchers OzBargainers alone won. You shouldn't forget that this competition is popular because it's on the home page of Optus website.

      Dad got most of itunes
      Mum got DJs
      Brother wanted JB
      I called dibs on Dymocks
      Other family didn't want any of the others which I won (Pretty much all ticketmaster- useless in SA)
      Didn't get many of the ones we wanted- 3 itunes, 1 DJs, 2 JB, I didn't get any Dymocks but traded for a fair few with Rebel, ticketmaster, PA and MyFun.
      A few friends gave me ticketmaster that they didn't know what to do with too.
