  • $10.85…meh

  • I chose pick up, so it's a good deal i think

  • Not an exciting deal tbh, offceworks sell a 100pk spindle for $30. You can usually get a 50pk of DVD-RW (1.4GB capacity) for $15 on special. Yeah they don't come with a case, but who uses cases any more? just use paper cases or a cd wallet.

(not pos or neg from me)… might be a good deal if… you're driving past an ht, but i wouldn't make a specific journey.

    • Officeworks sells a 100pack of Sony CD-R for $29.87, they don't even show a 100 pack of CD-RW on their website.
So where can a 100pack of CD-RW be had for $15?
I don't know but are you confusing CD-RW with CD-R, there not the same.

      • yep i checked and you're right.

However, i dont think i've ever burnt a cd more than once. I use cds for 1-use-only backups, and usb sticks for backups that are changed regularly.

    • Not to mention confusing DVD-RW and it's capacity. Nothing is 1.4gb capacity.

Does sound like $15 for 50 pack is for CD-R.

      CD-R/CD-RW - 650mb or 700mb.
      DVD-R/DVD-RW - roughly 4.7gb
      Dual/Double Layer (DL) DVD - 8.5gb

    • wait wait… DVD-RW is only 1.4GB? Did I miss something? What happened to 4.7GB?

  • Nice high speed - the regular ones seem to be 4-12x. Also worth remembering that there's a slightly lower capacity.

  • +1

    better deal for me: http://www.ht.com.au/cart/1/part/W6327-Shintaro-10-x-DVDR-4.…
$2.99 for 10 DVDs with cases

    • Agreed. I picked up 20 or so of those.

    • Good deal for a 10 pack, but Verbatim hasn't failed me so far so I'll choose it

  • +1

cd-rw good deal for me especially since I use them all the time when travelling in the car. They get reused very often as well.

Pitty there are none available at my local HT otherwise I would have picked up a few
