This hobby of being an audiophile is really costly. Usually if you buy something expensive, you never go back to using cheaper stuff, in many cases, and the cycle starts from there.
Though, if you are interested, it's a fun hobby as well. There are many moments of enjoyment coming from getting what you really like. Though that being said, do some research and try to listen to the ones that you want to buy. There are preferences people have that give mixed opinions on what are good earphones/headphones.
If you are moving around a lot, either closed-back headphones or in-ear headphones would be something you'd look at.

I picked mine up this morning from Castle Hill, I got told by the lady they were the last ones and she had to call someone back yesterday to cancel it.

Picked mine up from Warringah Mall this morning. Had an extra pair put on hold by Jonathan just in case DJ's didn't honour the price I had already paid. I told them to put them back on the shelf this morning after I left. Good chance they're still there.
Ordered yesterday for collection from Wollongong store. Collected today with no problems.

I don't care that the volume control won't work on my android phone but will it work when plugged into the plane audio?

I just gave them a call to see what's going on with my order. They told me that the online store didn't have anymore in stock and they were going to cancel it. I'm pretty annoyed since I ordered when this deal has something like +1 or +2 on it…
Yep. Same here. Contacted them this morning and they rang me and said they are refunding order and need my credit card number.
I would have asked them to fulfil their side of the contract. Cancellations are fine before the funds are transferred, but once they have taken your money, they have entered into a contract to supply goods.
@snuke: I asked them about a rain check, but they said they don't do rain checks and don't know when they will be back in stock.

The most I've ever spent on headphones is $10 from office works - which I just bought after the in-ear buds that came with my S2 finally stopped working. As someone who listens to music/podcasts for a minimum of an hour a day (walking), and often when traveling (airplanes etc) - would you recommend something like these? Given I've survived thus far without great sound, is this something I need??
