      Oh, thanks for the information, I am Melbourne, Victoria based and if it is available anywhere in Australia, the system should allow for home delivery, which it's not allowing and says "The requested quantity for "Vodafone HTC One M7 Smartphone" is not available for both home delivery and click and collect."

    Was wondering what if Dicksmith cancels the order for HTC or never posts that, but posts the $2 item?
    What will happen to the refund, will it be with delivery or just the product price? That way it will be lossing $8 on non desired item and shipping.

      Best to pay by PayPal. Then, at least lodge a complain for item not received and seek a full refund.

      System was a bit weird. In the morning (14/12), HTC One M7 was out of stock for home delivery for a while, then it is available for home delivery for a while. Looks like it is no longer available for home delivery.

      Hopefully, DSE can fulfill all the orders. Otherwise, there will be quite a number of unhappy customers.

    Guys, any idea, if we select "Click & Collect" and place the order and then will call them and say that "I can't go", so can you please deliver to my place with delivery charges, then will they do it???

    As per TRENT86, I selected "Goulborn" for click and collect, but can't go that's 1 day journey for me to collect and also it will cost more than 100$ to go there.

    OK, this is a bit weird … I ordered the M7 + $2 item - $40 discount = $266.95

    I just received an e-mail saying it's been shipped, invoice shows without the $2 item, but still including the $40 discount, making it $264.95?? Not that I wanted the $2 item, just strange that they never notified me of the change?

    Not sure if in all states but some stores here in VIC still carry stock of the LG G3, You need to call them and find out I picked 1 from Springvale just before 5 closing time and they still had couple left so did Hastings, Mentone as well as I think Chadstone, not clear on this as the line was bad when I was talking to Simon from Frankston store who was kind enough to check stock availability of other store. I guess if you call the store near you they may have a few stock though the website may show it as being out of stock.

    The only caveat is that you cannot use the discount code and have to pay $429/-.

    Thanks OP for the deal as now I will call the not so good guys and cancel my last order which by the way was more expensive by $55 and no delivery date in sight.

      Yeah, you are right. I picked one early this morning at my local dicksmith too. It was showing out of stock when i checked it last night. But i thought, may be i should give it a shot at my my local dicksmith first before calling the rest. And luckily they have one. =)

    Weird, I ordered for delivery around 1pm today. I got a shipping confirmation, but the "deliver to" address was wrong. It was an old address (from 2 years ago), that I don't even have defined in my account any more, and isn't the address that shows up when I look at my order in my order history. Looks like the guy I sold my last house to is going to have a very merry Christmas!

    Ordered one M7 this morning with a random cable. First the cable shipped and after an hour the phone too shipped.

      Called them and asked them to cancel the order. Now, I am concerned about the shipping cost because they shipped the $2 item.
      If your m7 order hasn't shipped, it is most likely on backorder.

          I have cancelled mine. It will take 3 days. The customer rep cannot confirm whether I can get the shipping refunded because they did ship the $2 useless item I bought. !@#!@#

          I told him I paid with Paypal and will dispute that I did not get what I ordered and he agreed that the postage was expensive for a $2 piece of crap lol

          @GerrardLFC: That's what the rep said initially (postage will be refunded). However, after she has requested the refund, she indicated it will be up to the refund team to determine whether to refund the shipping.

          With PayPal, it is possible to dispute it, but DSE is cheeky and shipped the useless $2 item right away, so this gets tricky.

          Anyway, the refund will take 3-5 days to process, then the bank will take another 2-3 days.

          He might get dicked around.
          It takes 2 weeks for them (Aust Post) to return it though.
          Then they will say they cannot locate it, and spend another 2-4 weeks locating it.
          Then they will finally give you the refund after around 15 calls chasing it up.

          It is easier for you to accept the batteries and return it to a store, then cancel the entire order if they do not send it out.

    Those who have cancelled, how much are they refunding you for the M7? The full price or the full price less $40. Technically they should also refund the shipping as you paid for that.

      Paypal transaction shows the discount and they will refund what we paid and not more.
      Also shippings get refunded in case whole order is cancelled.

    i purchased the ative s (unlocked) probably about a year ago and was around $299. good phone. 8mp camera which is good. it seems that 8.1 will not be rolled out to it. still on 8. you have some Samsung apps in addition to the windows store offering. does get quite warm if you keep an app running if it uses gps….

    The batteries I ordered with the 2 M7 phones have arrived at the post office.

    If I just ignore them they will get sent back to DICKS and then I can just ask for a full refund, am I right ^_^?
