    Does it worx well?

  • 1.3Ah and a 3 hour charge yet in one of the reviews he states charges in 30 mins.

    • The 180min spec on the listing is completely wrong.

Worx website mentions 2Ah charger (bottom end), described as a 60min charger with 2Ah batteries.

On those specs, 1.3Ah should take 39min.

Awesome value kit for the home handyman.

Pro batteries are 3/4/5Ah+, with chargers 6Ah+. Running two 6Ah chargers & three 3Ah batteries (2 batteries charged in 30min, while using one) often can't keep up with demand. Everyone's mileage varies. Just giving a comparison.

Until end of business today, FRESH10 10% off should stack with EDR25 too.

    • +3

Yeah doesnt seem to allow a second code to be typed in, without deleting the first code (which removes its discount).

The $25 off is 14.8% so better than 10%

Stacking does not seem to worx

      Just terrible :p

  • I nearly bought this yesterday. Was looking for some basic cordless tool for occasional work around the home. Thanks OP.

    • IMO better off going with Ryobi. a much more readily available and recognised brand than "worx" which i assume is just masters generic. ryobi addons can be had from US amazon for example

      http://www.bunnings.com.au/our-range/brands/r/ryobi-one-

just wait for a deal, you can get ryobi kits for around $99 on special, especially fathers day sale etc

  • thanks OP. just bought one.

guess every ozbargainer now has a cache of led torches, eneloops, some form of smart phone and carrying around a cordless drill or two, whilst on their tablet studying an online udemy course listening to free google music on their branded headphones and probably munching on cheap maccas/kfc/dominoes pizza…

    what a sentence!

Almost +'ed, but saw the self praise. Sorry :)

Maybe for the occasional user but i wouldnt buy it personally. For a one off buy a similar $30 cheap and nasty. Otherwise buy into a quality system. Aeg, ryobi, makita are all similar money. Bosch and dewalt are a bit more but once you have the tools the batteries are the only cost…

Good edit. This is good enough for the home/light user and you get some drill bits and nice storage box.

I have had Ryobi, AEG and Bosch. I am currently using Ryobi and the tools are definitely a step down from both but I couldn't resist this 10 piece kit https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/144258.

      • Yep i have ryobi also, their 18v lith ion are great. I'll pick it up after 2 months non use, and the battery is fine (and i have two!). Only need the big guns if your a tradie or doing a massive DIY IMO

  • Good find, got the $25 off & will redeem $30 cash back also..Thanks O.P.

  • Hey OP you forgot the additional 5% off wish gift cards from cash rewards.

I recently did similar with the Stanley drill and driver combo and saved $60.

    • Which Stanley one did you buy?

      Is it still on special?

      • I bought the drill and impact driver combo and couldn't be happier with the power. Retail is $249 but with the expired fresh10 and EDR25 and then using discounted cash rewards gift cards I got it down to $189.

Total tools have a similar kit on special with a better hammer drill at $276 but for almost a $100 saving, I can do without the hammer time.

  • Nice case….

I'd buy that separately if I could.

  • These last few months have been ozbargaining my credit card, thanks for deal OP.

    I bought this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/114340

Just finished a renovation (if you can ever really say finished) and this was my primary set of cordless power tools, no complaints and was dirt cheap. Mind uI am not a tradie aand don't use them all day every day, but you probably aren't either

  • Tried to purchase with Credit card and didnt go through so I called up and was told that cannot use coupon code on already discounted items.
I placed another order using coupon code and paid using Paypal instead which went through but like the sales assistant said, I haven't been charged and no confirmation email about pickup yet(Placed the order in the morning).

Anybody else bought this and got the confirmation email for click and collect or delivery? Thanks.

    • Got mine processed fine.. Picking up tonight.

    • I brought it online too, and payment went through after 2 attempts. didn't get confirmation for pickup. when I went to place of my collection, they helped me out. I had to wait for few minutes though before they finish their paperwork.
