Great collectible, looks totally cool down from $69.99

They also have the millennium falcon for $49, its stickers only but its a massive millennium falcon that used to be $120 and $80 at target

    Saw the Millenium Falcon at Big W yesterday on display. It could really do with a coat of paint…looked very flat and dull. With a bit of time it could probably be made to look pretty good. The oversized action figures look a lot better out of the box.

    $49 is a lot cheaper than I remember it being at Big W.

      It's basically a shell. There's no interior and paint apps are nonexistent. Good for RPF-types though.

      That is how it is meant to look. Unlike most sci-fi movies before, Star Wars had a beat-up well-worn look. Especially the Falcon.
      I'd get one, but its too big for my kid to play with.

        That is how it is meant to look. Unlike most sci-fi movies before, Star Wars had a beat-up well-worn look.

        The toy doesn't have a worn look. It's all the one (fairly bright) colour of plastic without any paint details.

          yes, i personally like the authentic well worn look but honestly, how many kids would be thrilled to open their xmas present only to find a model that looks like it really is the 'fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy' warts and all?

        Uh, no.

        The toy's just grey plastic. The falcon also has various red/yellow panels too.

        Typically, a mono piece such as this is given a grey paint 'wash' to fill in the cracks and give it that worn-in look. On larger ships, this is followed by aztecing to give it some texture.

    we nearly bought one and the x-wing and didnt because of the crappy stickers, the gf is good at art and im trying to convince her if I buy one we throw the stickers away and I get her to paint it.

      The X-Wings are not real X-Wings if they can't open their wings. They just look like Z-95 Headhunter.

        No… it just looks like an X-Wing with locked S-Foils. Of course, I'd wish they could open but this toy is basically a display piece. You put on some paint apps, wash and hang it from a ceiling.

      The Millenium Falcon is a beauty. The detail on this beast is nothing short compared to a 1/144 scale model kit but instead much more detail. I'm an avid modeller and have seen the repaint work on this and it's truly amazing. I want to share he photo here but can't post any pics :(
