From my experience Cyberghost has tremendous speeds and you can max out torrents easily. I'm not sure if this includes the Australian servers.

        I would have thought that it would be better to use an overseas server to download certain torrents. There are plenty of different countries to choose from. Australia like the US is fairly loose with privacy rights.
        I think Cyberghost by discouraging torrents from Oz are doing you a service. Just my opinion though, and ymmv

      Does that mean you can't download a torrent if you are located in one of those countries, or you can't download a torrent using one of their servers located in those countries?

      It reads like the latter but that still leaves you with not many choices.

        You can't torrent using a lot of different servers. Germany for instance allows torrenting. If you torrent using a server that doesn't allow it your traffic goes over your usual non-VPN connection.

    torrents, usenet cap at about 600kB/s in my experience.
    In comparison I get 5MB/s without the VPN on the same connection

    Better off going with PIA if you want P2P performance, $40 a year and has useable AU servers.
