Just thought I'll share the xmas cheer - if your thinking of getting some giftcards for kids n friends who enjoy the beach check out this deal. Personally I would get 2x $50 gift cards as you get 40% discount rather than the 30% for the $100 giftcard.     got the same feeling. it's a big surprise too when I found out some rayban sunglasses are made in china now. just imagine in future Louis Vuitton made in china. will you pay thousand $$$ for that?

      It's branding. Actually I think LV do make some stuff in China now that I think about it. They got sued by ASB in UK as they had ads saying/implying (with photos of artisans in factory) their stuff is all handmade in Italy, France etc.

      I think Rayban still make most of their sunnies in Italy though. The cheaper ones would be the entry level stuff. Mass prestige strategy. It's silly as it just dilutes the brand.

      BMW and Mercedes use South Africa and another country (Brazil maybe). What next? Ferrari and Lambos made outside Italy? ;-p it's crazy.

    looks like you can, which makes the $100 for $70 code pretty redundant… $100 for $60 is much better.
