Can someone comment on the comments at Amazon that the version of Plex they offer is a few updates behind the one on Google Play?

3.8.4.296 now available on Amazon and Google still is on the old version.
bugger…that's annoying, bought this about a week ago.
If you bought it via Google Play Store that's fine as it receives the latest updates.
Yeah for the sake of $2.40 I dont mind paying to have the latest version.
Just installed it on my Note3 and LG tablet - and currently installing PlexMediaServer onto my Netgear NAS.
