      As the poster for the original deal, I really don't begrudge EC for posting all these deals here…I agree with the sentiment that I only posted the code, whereas EC (along with others here) have bothered to go and look for actual deals, so cudos to you, sir…:)

      Plus, even if I was to update my post with deals, most of it has been posted here already anyways, so will I be duping EC's deals?? Not sure what will be the etiquette here, haha..:)

      Anyhow, as long as some of us save some cash, that's the main thing..

    There are two sets of AA batteries on offer - the Chinese made Chocolate and the Japanese Tropical (least last time I bought tropicals they were made in Japan and hopefully the stock CATCH has is still Japanese).

    So why would you get the more expensive lower cycle versions?

    I have found that I can get 2nd Gen Japanese Eneloop 8-pack for around $30.50 shipped or these Chinese ones for around $22.50 shipped. Which is the better deal? Are the Japanese ones really that much better?

    just remember the code only applied on the cost of item, not the postage cost. so consider buying total of 2 or 3 knives and pay only delivery cost

    I selected Paypal, and I saw no place to enter the code. I thought its one of those stupid sites where you enter the code after going thru paypal (since paypal siad "you will confirm your order when you return to COTD" but it didn't - it went straight thru.
