There were some deals on the portable version of this before Christmas, and the non-portable version is now on special at Dick Smith today only for $92.65, which is the cheapest I could find.

This is not a good price. At all. Was as low as $79 delivered two years ago.

    • Well the dollar has went down significantly so I'm not sure what kind of price you'll snag these days.

but it hasnt gone down quicker than technology has improved

hell i have 3tb drives now and will move to 4tb soon

        • the dollar has dropped 20% since Sep 2014
wow, what an age we live in that technology has improved that fast :O

more seriously, I kind of agree
stares at the 3TB drive I got in late 2013 for 99

well , not all of us have a time machine, mind going back two years and picking me one up ? im in need of a new HDD

    • I paid $79 at Dicks only a month or so ago. normal price $99 and used their fairly common $20 off $99 purchase. picked up in store.
I guess no one has a deal at the moment.

Wow I bought a 2tb external hdd from dicksmith over 3 years ago for $79.

I even commented in the above thread that a 2tb hdd would be almost worthless in 3 years lol… how wrong I was…

i actually purchased one of these yesterday at OW for $87.20. Don't think it's that price anymore…

I went to Officeworks to get this DSE pricematched just before closing but the shelf price sticker was $87.20. Unfortunately it scanned at $94 at the till, hence I didn't think I should post the $87.20 price as it might not be available to people when OW reopens tomorrow and the DSE offer can't be pricematched then.

These have been $79 delivered frequently and within last month. Not to mention the per TB cost is up and above better valued drives elsewhere.
