Wow nice deal. But another Xiaomi powerbank deal please.

    • -2

my friend bought one of these and it works perfectly
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/30000mAH-USB-External-Battery-Pac…

      • works perfectly as in it manages to charge something without blowing it up? Have you checked that it actually has the full capacity of 30000mAH? With that kind of capacity, that should be able to fully charge an ipad 2/3 from 0 to 100% about 3 times over. On a hunch, I doubt the one that you got can barely fully charge the same ipad fully once.

        See this: http://www.geek.com/news/buyer-beware-unbranded-battery-pack…

while I'm not saying that yours is filled with sand, it does look remarkably similar to the one in that link, and while not all the powerbanks that look like that are that dodgy, I don't think battery technology has advanced enough for that kind of capacity(30000mAH) to be available in a package of that size.

        • my friend has a nexus 5 it charges it around 7-8 times from ~20% to 100% sure it didnt hit the 30000 mah mark but thats still goood for $20

        • @mrwillc:

Based on what you said and the specs of a typical nexus 5 battery, that works out to be around 15000 mAH. Thats fine if that's all the buyer is expecting from the battery pack, however if the buyer is expecting a full 30000mAH, they'll be sorely disappointed in terms of getting what they thought they paid for.

I was in Shenzhen a year ago bargaining for some powerbanks, and I saw some that were this exact type, when I asked how much capacity they had, the seller asked me how much I wanted. I said 20000, he then cheekily grabbed a sticker which advertised the capacity as 20000 and then stuck it onto the back of one of the powerbanks and said that one was 20000….. When my local friend queried this in chinese, he sheepishly said that they just sell foreigners what they asked for, and he had a whole bunch of stickers with different capacities :P

        • @Kenb0:

but its 20$ so cheap price to MAH is amazing

    • We will bring more powerbank deals to Aussie market soon.
Thank you for supporting Aussie business :)

Bought these from banggood for $24.66 USD ($29.68 AUD) from a previous deal.
This is a good deal from an Australian seller and they're great quality earphones. recommended.

  • +1

Just ordered a pair from here. Thanks.

Hope they are as good as I've heard, pun intended :)

    • Best earphone around 30.00 :-)

  • Question: >Controller- Compatible with Xiaomi and iOS
Note: The volume button doesn't function with iPhone, iPod, iPad due to Apple's special design

Does that mean the volume button functions with android phones!?

    • The buttons work fine with my htc M8

    • +2

Works fine with my oneplus one too.

    • Some, not all. Eg. Doesn't work with Nexus 4, but does with Nexus 5.

    • It does compatible with most Android smartphones, also you can use third party button adjustment app on Android to configure buttons.

      • Not with the Xperia Z2

        • Aww, I have a z2 D:

        • @cwongtech:

Me too. You will be disappointed as a CTIA is used on the Z2 rather than the standard jack. So the volume buttons wont work at all. You can get the earphones to work but you need to short circuit them when you plug them on ie. press the button on the earphones a few times. You need to do that everytime and its annoying.

I find that the sound of the earphones dont sound as good on the Z2 either.. they sound great using my vita and connnected to my laptop though.

  • Got one one of these,a miband and a spare miband bracelet for AUD $36.72 but that was in December. This is probably the best price you can get at the moment.

  • Finally jump into the bandwagon after sitting on the side fence for a while on this ear phones.

    • +1

Good things come to those who wait but a rolling stone gathers no moss.

  • Apart from the obvious colour difference, are there any differences between the silver and gold version? Tried searching on net for this but conflicting advice! Thanks in advance :-)

    • +1

No difference apart from the color.

    • 100% genuine, you have my word.

      • Hello! I've literally just placed my order. I am within the Sydney metro area. When can I expect my order to be delivered?

        • +1

Mushtato is pretty fast, under a week. I got my powerbank in three days last time.

        • @elusive:

Awesome! Thanks for your reply :)

  • these will be coming from china or shipping from Australia ?

    • +2

I would hope Australia, as I have been charged GST.

    • Ship from our local warehouse in Sydney.
If you require a GST invoice, please kindly left a message in your order.
Or you can email us with your order ID.
Our staff will send the GST tax invoice to your email :)

  • That's pretty pricey but Mushtato has much faster shipping.

  • Ordered a pair - Thanks OP!

  • How well do these tend to stay in the ear?

I always have the issue of the earphones not staying in whilst walking (I assume due to the weight of the controls) and have tried all sizes of earpieces.

    • There are 3 pairs of different size earpieces included.
You can change to bigger pairs to fit your ear if it's too lose.

    • +1

hey, if you have issues normally with headphones falling out of your ears, you're gonna have a terrible time. I got some when i was in China and they fall out even just after some listening time. when walking i have to constantly adjusting these. I normally don't have issues with earphones falling out after i moved away from the $10 earphones.

      • Thanks man! Guess i'll look somewhere else! Much appreciated

  • +3

Rep, this is a great deal.
Can you confirm that the silver version is also version 2.1
Please note version 2.1 is the new packaging and also comes with a shirt clip which your description is missing. If you indeed confirm its 2.1 and give a pic of the back of the box (with barcode and product code) that will be very helpful :D

    • +1

Yes, the silver color version is also version 2.1 with a shirt clip.
Other than color, they are exactly the same as gold color version.

  • Thanks Mushtato, bought.

  • Thanks, purchased, look forward to trying them out.

  • I have 3 pairs, won't be buying more. Nice IEM's, the tips are not fantastic, but can be changed with many other tips.

  • Thanks, Bought!

  • Hi Rep,
I'm looking to buy 1 for my gf as a gift but she's in Malaysia. Do you do international postage? I'm happy to pay the postage if you quote me a reasonable price? Please let me know. Many thanks :)

  • Hi rep,

Wondering if you do, or have any plans to ship to New Zealand?

    Cheers.

  • Wow of all the cheap earphones deals that come around constantly.. Finally a proper high end cheap earphone.

Nice to have the piece if mind it's genuine too. Too many fakes going around

  • Was cheaper in last year Oct ($25.95) and Nov ($24.85) but still a very good price for local stock. Bought one! :)

    • The AU dollar has dropped.

    • AU dollar has dropped a lot during last few weeks.
We would love to keep the same deal for the same price.
The recent currency rate just makes it impossible.
But look at the bright side, when AU dollar goes strong, we will drop the price as well :)

      • AU dollar has dropped a lot during last few weeks.
We would love to keep the same deal for the same price.
The recent currency rate just makes it impossible.

        Why do people say this?

It's not like you're buying as you sell. You bought and paid for how long ago? Long enough that you aren't affected by such recent fluctuations in the

        last few weeks.

    • Thank you, AUD has been dropped like crazy, this is only covering our butt.

    • Was $17ish in Dec.

      • I got mine from IBUYGOU for $19 last year (white ones). I was lucky though as I ordered the brown ones but they were out of stock so they gave me the white one instead.

        • I got mine from Tiny deals for $17.87 and they were sent via PostNL Registered Air Mail for free.

        • +1

Yes, we had this conversation before.
You forgot to mention it was USD$19.95 and 15 days to ship to Australia :P

  • bought one..

  • Thank you Rep. Just ordered a Silver Pair.

  • +1

why not this one? isn't it more cheaper? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/177535

    • Can they provide GST invoice + fast shipping + local warranty ;)

    • It is $25.44 AUD. I think it is worth extra few dollars :)

  • Is the mic good on these for phone calls ? My last two pairs of earphones had dodgy mics.

  • I brought the gold ones.

    Good deal

  • +1

Good deal…especially considering if you buy off other known sites selling genuines, you could be waiting over a month for delivery if you select the free standard China AirMail (as I did).

Here's some info worth reading if you want to know more about these IEM's, the different versions, and how to spot fakes.
    http://www.head-fi.org/t/735775/the-xiaomi-pistons-thread-2-…

    • Same as above.
Can they provide GST invoice + fast shipping + local warranty ;)

    • $25.3858 AUD

Personally for the extra $2.5642 I would go this deal as I can't be sure the other site sells legit pistons or will arrive in timely fashion.

  • Got these last time from here (used em most of this morning actually).
Absolute value for money compared to the numerous pairs I've bought in the $10-$100 range.

    • Thank you for supporting Mushtato.
      True Aussie business :)

  • True Aussie business, would it be feasible to get the xiao mi band in to avoid experience dealing w overseas?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/xiaomi-mi-band
    say for a nominal $8 premium over $20 dollars^

Enjoyed your power banks & trusty earphone.

    • We are planning to bring new items to all of you very soon, stick around with our Facebook updates :)

  • If these are genuine xiaomi's pretty good deal. So far everything I have bought from them is good quality

  • My New Years resolution is to steer clear of oz bargain!

  • +4

Rep, can you make a deal on Piston 2.1 + 16000 mAH please?

  • bought one, thanks op

  • Bought 1, thanks OP. Now to see if these really are all that hyped up to be.

  • Any chance on an ETA on when these will be shipped?

    • +1

Your order will be shipped out within the same business day or next business day by AusPost eParcel with tracking and signature on delivery.
It will be sent from our Sydney warehouse.
For major cities in AU, normally it takes 2-3 business days on its way.
We will send you an email with tracking details after it's shipped.
You can track your parcel online from AusPost website:
      http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html

      • Thanks! I assume yesterdays orders have yet to be shipped

  • Hi do the volume buttons and controls work with Windows Phone (Lumia 735)?

  • Was thinking of these as a gift for my daughter, how do they compare with the original iPhone ear buds?

    • +1

      huge difference

    • +1

Generally speaking, Xiaomi earphone has better sound quality and noise isolation compare to Apple's genuine earphone.
      And it's a lot cheaper :)

  • Yep they do get good review online shame they have issues with some phones in the control department. You would think there would be a standard that all phones follow for sound up down stop start.

    • Very hard for those big companies to sit down together and work out a standard for anything.
Because a new standard usually means someone need to spend money to change their design :\

  • Hi rep. I'm going overseas soon and am thinking of buying one of your powerbanks to keep my phone healthy on long plane flights, but I don't want to carry a heavy one around with me. Could you recommend one? Also, I don't know which of yours are 1st gen and which are 2nd gen Xiaomi powerbanks (I heard 2nd gen is better)

  • Deal is expired or still have stock per website?

Also does this have a mic?

    • Deal was ended at 23:59 last night.
Price for these items have returned back to normal.
We will bring more promotions next week.

  • I have received my ear phone today.
Unfortunately the button to skip tracks does not work as intended. The backward button only restart the same song. The forward button does nothing. I have tried it with Rocketplayer and Shuttle player. Could anybody help or is this a dude sample.

I am running 4.4.4 kitkat android.

    • What is the model of your phone?
Does it have "headphones option" in "Setting"?
If it does, you can adjust it to fit your needs.

      • hi,

if its first generation so where is second generation link? can i please get link of 2nd generation

        http://www.mushtato.com.au/xiaomi-16000mah-portable-mi-power…

        • As we mentioned, 2nd gen is currently not available in Australia, but will be soon.

      • It is the Motorola G 2014. I have not seen a headphone option in android and I have used many different high to mid end android phones.

        • These link should help you to get into Motorola G's engineering mode:
          http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2695139
Once you are in the CQA manual mode, there is an option for audio.
You can then run test and adjust the setting.
To enable USB Debugging, go into Settings – Developer Options – USB Debugging.

Or, the simplest way is to download a third party button adjustment app on Android to configure buttons.
          Hope these information helps :)

  • so does this have a microphone?
