This deal only last for 24 hours
Tecsun PL-310 DSP (Digital Signal Processing) FM-Stereo/MW/SW/LW multi-band portable radio. This radio uses DSP 4734 micro-chips (from Silicon Labs in USA) to digitalize the analog MW / FM / SW broadcasting signal base on the modern software technology and radio principles. It greatly improves the radio's sensitivity, selectivity, S/N ration and anti-interference. With the direct frequency entry, you can easily tune into a station of which you already know the band frequency.

  • Not enough people listen to long-wave and short-wave radio these days.

    • -1

      How many should there be?

Agree. SW is probably only useful for remote and isolated communities. As for LW. Is there actually anything on this band? My old Marantz stereo receiver has LW band but there has never been anything on it.

    So this does digital radio?

    • DSP reduces interference and makes the audio sound better.
      No DAB.

  • this is not a DAB digital radio.

    • DAB is useless outside capital cities however.

These are still good for regional areas.

You've seen a time machine? Are you from the future?

        Yes

  • Works out around AU$49 shipped. This is a US site but says ships from china. My last purchase from China took 1 month to arrive.

Also doesn't show/mention this comes with any power adapter. Specifically one for Australian 240 volts. Picture only shows it can be powered using a specific 5v adapter or from 3 AA batteries.

  • Going by reviews this is a very good SWL radio for the money. Be great on those camping trips when you are fed up listening to the wife and kids screaming! lol
