50% off Ready Made Meals - Gourmet Republik, Claremont (WA). Ie 1kg Canneloni $14 (Was $28)

40

Noticed that the kiosk outside Coles in the Claremont Quarter - Gourmet Republik - has 50% off ready to eat meals at the moment. The signs show that the promo was running to New Years Eve but they have scratched out the NYE part. I asked and apparently the 50% runs for another week or so.

Canneloni 1kg was $28 now $14
Pies 900gm were $28 now $14
Quiche ~850gm was $28 now $14
Pizzas, Pasta, Curries as well for $20-30 down to $10-15 (from memory)

Great for cooking up and taking to work for lunches, or for dinner when you cant be bothered cooking. My sister suggests the curries can be increased in portion sizes by adding cooked potatoes or other veges (they are almost all meat)

I tried the rogan josh pie last night, and will be going back to get more (had a little heat, so be warned)

They also had some signs on some meals for two for $20, I am not sure if this stacks and you get both for $10
They also had some nice looking cakes - but not on sale.

I bought some yesterday - it is a pretty good deal but keep in mind some things are already overpriced. For example a pizza is $19. When the store opened I looked at them and thought they looked nice, but not paying that for pizza I have to cook myself. At half price though it is reasonable. I think I will go back and buy some more.

Yes I agree, full price is overpriced, but half price is pretty good. The LaPagnotta pizzas at Jacks are $10 and are awesome (the Don especially). I don't mind putting a pizza in the oven if all the hard work is already done!

    • Jacks as in Farmer Jacks?

      • Yes, for some reason they dropped the Farmers tag at this store, but same company (as far as I know)

    • Yes I am the same, I don't mind either and would normally pay around $10 - but $19 is a bit steep.

  • OK cool, we are about to have one open in Brighton, Butler.
Fingers crossed they carry LaPagnotta pizzas as their bakery in Malaga is a trek!

  • Whenever I have gone to this gourmet shop there seem to be a couple of meals which don't sell as well as the rest - and I don't know if it is a coincidence but it is these ones that are reduced more than the rest to 2 for $20.
