Kogan probably bought up from Aldi. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/174701

Not so long ago that $17 for Havianas was overpriced. Agree they are comfortable but I get an irrepairable blowout within 3 months of wearing them these days.. Steep downhills prove destructive every time.

Nothing has changed, its still overpriced. You've only got to search OzBargain for "havianas" to realise this isn't a good deal

    • 3 months? Do u wear them bush walking?

You better buy a BMW instead… though I'm not sure how your choice of German auto relates to the purchase of rubber footwear!

        I know nuzzink!

So you guys walk everywhere in expensive thongs instead?

      :P

Use plenty of anti chafing gel.

Dont have my size in the dark blue 43/44 EUR 45/46 - Plus more expensive after shipping is added

Aldi has it 9 not long ago.

Why such a high price for a piece of rubber?

    • Because it's Brazilian rubber.
Most of my mates prefer Brazilian.

      • We all do…

        • …WITH a rubber! ;)

    • +5

Because it has a logo people like.

    • +4

Because if you hadn't noticed up until now the price of manufacturing and materials has little to do with the retail price.

Pretty sure I saw them for $10 at Costco recently. Yes, I know there's no Chevrolet, I mean Costco in Darwin.

    • They were nearer $20 before Xmas, must have dropped their prices.

the aldi ones where weird and suss imo, i put them back.

  • +1

big w had them for $9 not long ago.

Bullion is right. They don't make havis like they used to. My first pair lasted a couple years. But recent ones have all had the stumps ripped off from the strap.

Hated walking down Newtown kings street bare foot trying buy new pair.

But recent ones have all had the stumps ripped off…

      "They're just stumps!"

    There's no Audi in Darwin

    Not a bargain!

    They gotta be kidding!!!

I would only pay this much if they had the KOGAN branding on it.

  • Dupe is far better than Havainanas (and still made in Brazil), for one the build quality & QC is 100x better and feels more like Havainanas before they were famous and 2 the price is the same. Only downside is that there's limited styles

  • Good deal, about $9 cheaper than most shops.

    • about $9 cheaper than most shops

Except Aldi and Big W which had them for half this price. I'd say its a crap deal

      • +1

        No aldi in WA.

BIG W no where near me… Do they have stock at this price now?

  • +1

Not sure what the warranty is like elsewhere, but if you buy from Ozmosis, they guarantee them for 6 months as long as you have the receipt and will replace. Pretty good as they do tend to break after a bit of wear.

  • People, for the safety of friends and family, Double Pluggers only…

  • No deal for me. No Audi in Darwin.
