【SOLD OUT】USB HDTV TV Stick - Watch and Record TV/HDTV - $24.80+ $6.98 Postage

30

I don't need this TV stick any more. (I have an HD TV at home now.)
But I still want to submit this deal for friends who may need it. I think the price is good!

Last year, I lived in Melbourne and bought a similar TV stick from ebay for more than $40(plus postage). And sold it after I bought an HD TV.

Good Luck.
Cheers….(⊙_⊙)

  • 2 questions… Is this a generic brand? If yes does anyone know what the quality like? And I live in st kilda, will I get good clear picture quality from using the portable antenna?

    • As far as I know, the signal strength is good enough for my laptop in Camberwell(Melbourne). No idea for other area…But I guess no problem in st kilda…-_-

  • hmm always wanted one of these for my laptop at work. Not so sure about the signal on the provided antennae though.

  • want to know the signal strength with that tiny antenna

    • some area ok, but some not good enough, needs better antenna

  • I don't see any mention of AC3 or H.264 support so I'll be giving this one a miss.

One that supports AC3 from $36 + postage via Shopbot (Not sure about H.264 though):

    http://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-leadtek-winfast-dtv-dongle-gold…

    • AC3 is software dependant, so if your were to use this with MEdia Center it would decode AC3. No one in Oz is tranmitting in H.264 yet….that is many many years aways sadly.

Not sure if this has 64bit drivers?

price lower than cotd and zazz, they sold about $30. but wanTV brand

    • I just find many USB TV receiver on ebay. Price is good, but the postage is expensive!(items from Hong Kong)……For online shopping, I would like to buy something from a local seller…Sometimes,I can even pick up and save the postage…( ^_^ )

looks like a noname brand. i'd rather spend $7 more to get the leadtek gold from 9289.com which goes for $39 with free postage.

    • I agree with U.

But on the other hand, I think TV receiver is not a High-Tech product,do not need to pursuit for brand. Normally, we just buy one for a temporary use. It's not worthy to spend too much money on it.

    • hey mate, I'm not seeing this leadtek product on 9289.com.au. Am I missing something or is it no longer there? I have moved my media pc into a micro tower and my leadtek PCI card no longer fits. I've been happy with the leadtek product in general, so a leadtek USB would be a good option for me. Cheers.

  • Is it possible to buy some sort of adapter to connect the USB dongle to a standard exterior antenna outlet, rather than connecting to the portable antenna?

    • you don't need an adapter. The hole on the USB is the same size as the ones you have on your tv.

you can get them for $13.50 incl post off ebay

    • i just checked it, very good price. but TS-300 USB2.0 DVB-T TV Tuner Capture Video For PC Laptop
      FOR EURO. MARKET ONLY
what do think? can use it in aust?

      • Should work in Aussie as it's a DVB-T Tuner.
The reason for the stating "Euro only" is because,
Digital TV in United States uses ASTC, instead of DVB-T.

This product is from hong kong, and personally for experience i wouldnt trust ANY electronics shipped from Hong kong, even if it was free. stick to Aussie sellers with warrantee and returns policy

      • Depends.
You need to look at the product, it both from HK and Aussie are no brand ones then they are same quality.

What personal experience did you have?
