Wii Mote Plus + Just Dance 2014 + NintendoLand + Sensor Bar - $10 @ Kmart

810

Just Dance 2014 Additional Set for Wii U Basic Pack being sold separately for $10. Found at Kmart Chirnside Park. Was a few more left after I bought 2.

JB has the wii mote plus for $68. The wii mote plus looks genuine. I expect the trade in for the games at EB will probably get the $10 back.

Not sure about other stores but worth a look.

  • Brilliant bargain. Hopefully I can find in my area and I will buy 2 as well.

Been looking for a wiimote plus (genuine) for the wii u but don't want to pay the 60 price tag. Even used ones are 30 on EB games.

    Thanks op

  • +1

I would like this! Any in SA? :)

    • None at Kmart firle

  • +4

These were on clearance at Target last year for only $1 but it was never posted as a deal.

    • Link for us lazy sloth?

      • It was never posed. Their $1 clearance apparently started in November 2013. I found out about this in June 2014 and was still lucky to find stock.

        • Thanks. The girl I spoke to had no idea what i was talking about so I was tempted to drive up :)

  • +5

Chirnside Park is out now, and Boronia never had it or something. Eastland is also out - those are all the ones I checked :)

    • +1

      Thanks for the info

    • Did you go to the chirnside store?

      • Nah, they just said they had just sold them. Otherwise I wouldn't have checked the other stores - I only wanted one.

  • Bargain

    • +17

It's not their fault you can't go to the store. :)

A bargain is still a bargain.

Plus, it's not up to the OP to post info for stock for the entire chain.
      How would he/she know?

Can't be a bargain hunter if you don't "hunt".

      • Right on!

      • Posting guidelines: Make sure there is sufficient quantity. As a guideline, less than 10 quantity of items is not enough for a deal unless the item has a high price.

        • And how would someone know if there is any stock in every other store in Australia?
The quantity could be from one to one million.

Do you know how many of the good deals are by people who don't know about stock levels in other stores?
I'm sure I've seen quite a few at least.

I mean fair enough if the OP is affiliated with the chain and knows it's only a one store deal. Otherwise, it's fair game.

        • +5

@mthucs: I don't know about you, but for me, unless I know other stores have them, I would put in the title @ Kmart Chirnside Park

        • @netsurfer:

You're right there. He should have.

However, you were whinging about lack of stock at every other store. Not lack of stock at Chirnside Park.

      • -3

If there is less than 10 available, then it is not even suppose to be posted. I see OZB being a place to share bargains with other people.

The issue is not I cannot go to the store, it is more like I will be wasting a trip for nothing going to the store.

        • +1

But how do you know the quantity is less than 10 considering Kmart is part of a massive chain?
What if there were 20 at another store and none in every other store in Australia?

It's a bit hard to check unless you're a rep and for those of us who like to hunt, it's fun.
Plus, you can always call to reserve something. If there's no stock, no problem, No trip wasted.

        • +1

@mthucs: Mate, look at the number of votes. I know about these deal, there was a PSP deal which got posted way way back, I was 4th in the queue at the store (arrived at the store when it opens), the store had 5, and I came home with nothing (empty handed - you do the maths). Would be too late to go to another store to get one.

This is yet another example. I am guessing OP got 2 because of the wii motion plus.

People vote differently now. Don't get me wrong, if there are 20+ of them at the store, I would + vote this.

        • +1

          @netsurfer:

If you want to get rid of your Wii, why are you on a post about Wii Accessories?
Unless you want to bundle it when you try and make a sale I suppose.

Also, man, you can't complain about luck. That's why you reserve stock. What if there were 20, you were 2nd in line and someone got all 20?

          SSDD.

        • @mthucs: Because there are so many of these limited deals being posted lately, I am just wondering whether this is yet another one.

        • @netsurfer:

So essentially, you're whinging about a deal that doesn't even affect you?
Maybe your name should be "negativenetty"

        • @mthucs: If a deal is a dupe, I would complain. If a deal is not proper, I believe I can complain.

Easy, I will call the K-Mart store tomorrow morning and try to reserve one. Let's see if they still have any stock. No point saying what if….. Considering I bought so much junk, I can buy it and give it to a mate.

Will call the store. If there is no stock in the store, then this deal should be marked as expired.

        • +1

          @netsurfer:

Say they don't have any stock. How would you know if they never had any to begin with or whether you just missed the deal?
I don't it'll last till morning considering there are 24hr Kmarts.

I'm saying the deal is proper. Unless the item was being sold at a store that was not part of a chain as big as Kmart's and the OP knew for a fact there were only a few (<10). I agree with you when you say you shouldn't post a deal for something at your local corner store where there is no chance of stock elsewhere.

Also, the OP clearly states he does not know about stock elsewhere. It'd be different if he said "oh, there's stock there, there and there" and then it was all BS.

        • @netsurfer:

OK then. If the ONE store you call does not have stock, surely no other store does.

The deal must definitely be expired….

I remember during the Casio G-Shock deal at BC&F, there were about 20 posts saying no stock left.

I managed to get 2 from Wagga the next morning.

        • @mthucs: Why don't you find me one?
I called Kmart Burwood, was on hold for a while, they told me they don't have it. Any other stores you believe would have it?

To be honest, I've been to the Burwood store many times, bargains sell out there very fast. Also, I don't believe you can raincheck a clearance item. At least for the other deals posted (which I + voted, I was able to get a raincheck).

        • +1

          @netsurfer:

"Why don't you find me one?"
          Simple. I don't want it.

And no idea, call around. But then I guess your name is netsurfer not phonesurfer.

        • @netsurfer:

I'm not sure about the rainchecking. I just ask them to put stuff aside and they normally do.
Not sure about that one sorry.

        • @mthucs: You seem to imply there is a good chance they will be everywhere. I don't think that's the case. Will find out tomorrow.

I really don't want to waste a trip. I had Harvey Norman agreed to hold an item for me, but sell it to someone else before I arrived.

        • -4

          @netsurfer:

          OK.
Once you have called everywhere, let me know.

I want proof. Names of staff, locations, etc. etc.

I'll gladly admit I'm wrong then.

        • @mthucs: No, why don't you call? This does look like a store only special.
You can prove me wrong. I call a store, at least you can call some.

You + voted this, so you must have a reason to justify it so prove it. I am still reserving my vote until more info is available.

        • @netsurfer:

Nah, I know I wouldn't bother going to any other store than Blacktown and I already called them. She said no stock.
I like to do only what I need to do and proving something on OZB is not a need.

However, you might want to start calling quick.. debating with me about this is costing valuable time.

        • @mthucs: Stop wasting my time. Checking out on other proper bargains now.

        • @netsurfer:

You responding wasted your own time.
I've got plenty more time in stock if you'd like it. Definitely >10.
          And it's cheap.. real bargain.

        • @mthucs: Sure, prove it. The fact is (you already mentioned it) you cannot get one from your nearest Kmart store.

        • -1

          @netsurfer:

          Prove what?
You like to waste your own time arguing with a stranger on the internet?

          It's already proven mate.

        • +1

          @mthucs:

Blacktown, NSW is out.. but then, we were never really the cool kids of Sydney. :D

Not every store has it. NSW has lots of dirt cheap bargains. But, a lot are like this one, store specific bargains. I recall going to a specific NSW store every week (not K-Mart though) when I was living there (but cannot post any of the deals, coz. those are just clearance items).

Got some bargains from stores in Blacktown in the past too.

      • I agree.

        • Yep… That whole discussion above is stupid.

Call the store and see if there is any in stock. If not, bad luck and try another store. Furthermore, I have never had any issue asking the staff to put an item aside for me (as long as I pick it up before C.O.B that day).

About 4 years ago I drove all the way to Geelong (2.5hrs away) to pick up a Sony TV with free PS3 I wanted it that bad. Both TV and PS3 still kicking strong, so was defiantly worth the effort.

        • @DrPayne1990: Sony TV with free PS3, sure that's worth the effort. This thing… call every store. Hm… okay, if people feel that's worthwhile.

  • Blacktown, NSW is out.. but then, we were never really the cool kids of Sydney. :D

    • +1

'We'? More like people with usernames mthucs.

      • Haha. Yeah. I was never really cool either.

Damnit. How did you know? :D

        • Haha im joking, your pretty cool especially in Winter. And besides. I'm sure you have a few fans or air conditioners to keep you cool during summer.

          @18:

          Nah…. A/C is broken.
Thanks for reminding me to look it up on here. :D

  • Bloody excellent!

  • +1

I thought you couldn't sell these separately.

  • +1

My local closed 8pm, I'll have to call again tomorrow morning - my thoughts are this is limited to a handful of stores nationwide- Bargain nonetheless!

  • Yeah I don't think this is really front page
.. usually I agree with oother posters but clearance items like this just isn't a bargin imo… each to their own though :) good find OP

    • Me, I would rather know, so I would like to read any and all posts.
If stocks are limited, not a worry so long as its mentioned.
      Cheers OP.

      • true long as its clear in title its like a clearance box and most likley not all stores :(

  • +5

I wouldn't post it as a deal unless that specific store has the product on clearance with more than 10 I can see on the shelf or confirm with the staff. But I think the posting guideline has a bit of grey area that allows each of us has our own view.

    • There are more users now and the general view on posting these types of deals is changing.

I think not many super duper 2015 deals might also contribute a bit to to the more relaxed view on these.

  • +1

I'd rather that people did post these deals. I can check my local store and if no stock no harm done. If there is bonus for me. Stop whining!

  • called kmart mt druitt, the lady said they dont stock this particular bundle, each item sold separately. =(

  • Nil stock in Belconnen Canberra, but thanks for the heads up OP

  • +2

Given the discussion an being the OP I'll add my resasoning.

    • there were definitely more left when I purchased. I wouldn't say 20 but more than 1 or 2. In fact the checkout girl at the electrical desk struggled with the security lock and was about to get another one when she got it off.
    • it wasn't in the clearance section but on an end in electrical
    • it didn't have the typical pricing gun markdown but instead had a printed price barcode so looked like it might be wider.

Point was if it is wider and no one knew about shouldn't someone post it here. If it isn't wider how would I know?

  • +1

    VERY LIMITED STOCK!
This was an extra item from a very old Wii U Bundle pack.
I'm very surprised a store would still have it.
It technically shouldn't be sold separately (Thats what is written under the black lines on the bottom of the box)

Can you please provide a receipt, so I can check stock locations?

    • I think it's already been thrown out but I'll try and see if I can find it. Would the barcode number help? It's 000000097956

      • You should peel off the $10 Kmart label and scan the actual product barcode. You might be surprised at what it scans at.

      • +1

I believe then at this price it is a store mark down, it would have never been put on the system cause it was an extra part of a bundle (going by the barcode) it looks like a misc. code for that store only. Other stores might have it but not at this price, could be lower could be higher you never know…

  • I saw this pack about a month ago for $20 but skipped it as I have nintendo land and a lot of remotes but for $10 I would have grabbed it

Pity they are all gone now

  • +2

Is it a good deal = Yes
Do I need it = No
Should I buy it = Yes

    • +6

Can you find it = No

      • Then I'll save $10 :)

        • Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh baby yes!

    • +2

Do i need it? After 4 years of being an Ozbargainer you still ask yourself this question? It is all about bargain here mate.

      • LOL … my wife ask me this question every time the postman rings the door bell.
Didn't realise it has been 4 years already!

  • +6

None at Frankston. Please, no more harassment…

  • None at Broadway, the guy who I spoke to said it was likely to be only this store that would have it as its a really old bundle.

  • Hey psychomagic any chance you found the reciept? My store has 4 left but won't sell them on clearence :(

    • +4

Ok found it after some wheelie bin diving. However as awsomerc96 said it might not be much help as it does say miscellaneous. Receipt image is at http://imgur.com/i6RD8q1

      • Cheers. I'll give it a try.

      • Wow, going the extra mile for the Ozbargain community.
        Kudos!

  • none in bendigo :-(

  • Called Kmart Chirnside Park, all sold out. Any chance we can mark this deal as expired?
It might be hard for other stores to price match since it is out of stock.

    • +1

honestly you really wanted this bundle

      • Nah, honestly, I don't believe this deal should be posted. I recently chuck out a Wii Fit. Trying to give away my wii which has been collecting dust for 3 years now.

It's good that a small number of people got it/them. I still think a deal should only be posted when there is sufficient quantity available.

        • Posting this deal allowed others to find it. That's the point of OzB. Just because you couldn't find one doesn't negate the fact that others were able to.

        • @Scipio: I understand why some people want this deal posted. It is just not quite following the general OZB guidelines. The main issue I have is the title. It gives the false impression that it is available in most, if not all Kmart stores. It is clearly a clearance deal. There were other proper Kmart deals posted in the past (those ones, you can get a raincheck).

I call the stores expecting to hear no stock. It is hard for most people to find it.

Just because I commented on a deal does not mean I want the item. My concern is that most people (who really want this) won't be able to get it. I don't understand why people think they know everything, including what I am thinking. You guys really over-estimate the value of this deal. For the third time, I want to get rid of my wii (none of my friends want it - wii is too old). Why would I want to buy more wii stuff?

        • you do know that the wii fit balance board can be "hacked" to use with your computer, right?

        • @tomkun01: I didn't. I only knew wii remotes can be hacked to work with PC. Anyway, the wii fit board was put into one of the council's large collection item bins.

        • @netsurfer: id be interested in getting the wii from you

        • @adventbargain: If only AusPost could make the postage cheaper. Still have the original box, with extra wii remotes + wii plus dongle thingy and games. It will only fit a Bx4 box. All up, $17.45 to AusPost (I still need to tape it and put bubblewrap inside). See my problem?

My nephew wants it, but his mum says no.

        • @netsurfer: the remotes? ah, i guess youd need to if you ran a Wii emulator

        • @tomkun01: I meant some of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Remote. I am trying to give away wii to a friend or a family friend (the original wii, not the new wii U or whatever the latest gen of wii is). No one wants it.

        • @netsurfer: have you made a post in forums? perhaps an ozbargainer near you would have a use for it

  • +4

Just went to Kmart parra. Bought 4 of these for 2cents each. Paid 8 cents. Have receipt to prove this. Parra had a few left. Just have to ask as it's in the back. I'll post the receipt when I'm not on my mobile

    • glad someone was able to find some - 2c is amazing.

    • Well none left anymore!

    • -1

If u want to sell one I am happy to come and collect it and pay you $10.

      • No one is going to sell such a bargain for simply 10 dollars when it would trade in at EB for much more.

        • To be honest if I had bought more than I needed for this particular sale, I wouldn't have mind onselling to fellow ozbargainers. However I bought exactly what I needed. I only had 2 old style wiimotes with the wii motion plus dongles. So 2 to replace those and 2 extra. Bring on 4 player SSB and Mario Kart!

    • A receipt would be amazing please!
