  • Any word on phone recharges @ Wednesday, Coolies?

    • Dse have Telstra ones half price atm

      • Had Vf in mind. ..ah well next week.

    • Haven't seen any offers for recharges for a while from anyone!

  • That sure is some terrible specs on the Samsung, even taking into account the price.

    ehhhh 3g… who uses 3g these days…

    • Might be useful for me as I have to move soon and will be without interet for a few weeks. Better than nothing.

I have 4g pocket wifi from vodafone that gives me 12gb a month for $39 .I dont see how this is a good deal

    • +3

On a 24 months contract right?

  • +2

    No .mine was 12 month

  • What's the best going rate (currently offered) for 3G/4G data on mobile broadband? Both prepaid and contract? Can anyone help.

    • Others may know of better deals but Bendigo Bank Telco offers 10GB for $40 per month (and others). No contract, Optus 3G/4G network.

      • Thank you for this. Am currently looking at them seriously.

    • Depends on how much data per month you need.

I use 2-3GB/mth with time overseas (so don't want to pay for what I can't use)… So prepay at 50c-$3/GB.

Just connected Vodafone 4G from Coles $9 3G USB + 3GB (currently expired but regular deal). I just pop another data SIM in every 30 days. Woolies had $1 Telstra Starter Pack deal before Christmas giving 2GB (30 days).

Stock up when there is a good deal is best.

  • Anyone know if there is anywhere in Brisbane with stock?

    • Ask your AP to search for stock, then ask them to ring to confirm. I've done that at my local in Brissie many times, but do when the store is quiet.
