Xiaomi Power Bank 10400mAh AU$28.85 at Mushtato's eBay Store

151

Not the cheapest ever (as Mushtato has offered these for $25.95 in the past), however I think it is still a pretty good price at $28.85 for a genuine product, local stock, free shipping and as an added bonus, you get the eBay buyer protection.

FYI, Mushtato's website lists these at $32.95 (http://www.mushtato.com.au/genuine-xiaomi-portable-mi-powerb…)

bought this the other day, $1.30 cheaper (aus stock and supposedly genuine)
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100-genuine-XIAOMI-external-USB-b…?

    • +3

I would rather spend an extra $1.30 to buy from a premium seller rather than one with rather limited feedback like you posted. Just my preference though. Is it worth negging this over?

      • -3

Nothing wrong with a neg… It means people will read the comments and make up their own minds.

If it's a good deal, there will lots of +'s and it will sort itself out.

        • +6

exactly… my comment was valid… and helpful to the community

      • yes coz it's not a bargain…

        • +2

really? you point to an auction that starts at $27.50 from a guy that has 8 feedback (despite multiple items sold), supposedly genuine (lol) as the basis for negging this deal? I think you'll find enough people disagree with that to remove your neg…

        • -3

@fattyboombatty: not an auction it's a buy it now.

        • +1

          @edwinlin88:
the item you linked to has ended

the item has been relisted by the seller as an auction

can't really say anything else about what you posted

        • -4

@fattyboombatty: fine by me if people want to see mediocre deals on Ozbargain. Just trying to let people know there's cheaper ones out there and discourage half-arsed "bargains"

        • +1

          @edwinlin88:
and I'm saying you haven't shown my anything that comes close to negging this deal over - your neg is the only "half-arsed" thing I see here

        • +3

@edwinlin88: I think you might have buyers regret…

You might be wishing you had spent another $1.30 if you ended up with a fake!

Should listen to the advice of fattyboombatty.

    • An ended listing is still a bargain in your book?

      • +1

it's still avail from same seller. and im not claiming it's a bargain… just saying the posted one ISNT

        • can't you direct to the same item from a reputable seller for cheaper?

        • -2

@fattyboombatty: mate I don't need to direct you anywhere. I was using the neg button like it's spose to be used.

        • +3

          @edwinlin88:
guess not - your neg is gone

    • +1

Wow never knew dudes, were so serious about what is a bargain

  • -4

    c'mon we're only interested in bargains…

Well if you are in Melbourne, check on eBay there will be 2 local sellers; one of which allows pick-up which I bought from for $25. Genuine and hassle-free.

  • has anyone seen a power bank with a hard-wired micro USB cable?? Not sure if these exist, but haven't been able to find one.

    • why would you want a hard wired one though?

      • i've had the usb cable plugged into an old unit while traveling with it in my bag. The movement must have jiggled the cable around, and it broke the USB connector. I figure a hard wired cable with a proper stress point will be better.

        • +2

Just disconnect the cable before you travel? That's the whole point of it being removable.

      • cheers

still waiting for the $20 bargain

    • fake one as I guess due to the 10400 printing is bit dark.

      • I emailed him to ask if it was fake. His response:
        "Hi my friend,
Thanks for your email, cuz our XIAOMI POWER BANK is purchased from a AU supplier, and they said it's genuine, but we still worry about it,so we picked up a sample and tested, and the result is really good.
        Cheers
        Kevin"
Hmmm to take the risk or not…

        • -1

find another seller then, 10400 is too heavy and bulky. I would like 5200 which is more portable. Please note that 10400 will be take long long time to charge up even use 5V2A charger.

Not being able to negative vote is just ridiculous.

    • +5

The Mob mentality have taken over OzBargain.

It used to be that as long as the person negging provided a good enough explanation, then the neg stood. But now, if the explanation is unpopular, it will just get negged and the neg revoked.

In short, no point in negging any more.

      • -1

agreed and mods care very little also.
ive lost my neg privileges simple cause a post i made got nagged causing my neg vote to be revoked and this was weeks later.

  • Ridiculous price I do not know how to made.

    28.85*90%(after selling fee)-0.88(Paypal fee)-7.2(Postage)=17.89
Cost of goods around AUD$12-14 in China, I am not sure how much is Bulk shipping to AU.
Surely, there is no much profit margin remains.

    Really good Product.

  • Damn it, I ordered one of these from their store @ $32.95 at 9am this morning! Just received the shipping confirmation & tracking number.

    • Doh! What would you have done with that $4.10?

      • Gone to your local mcDs and bought a big mac with an extra $1?

so what was the neg vote for??? I came to see the reason and there doesn't seem to be one. Mushtato is a great seller i got a 10400 of his ebay store about a month ago for $30.65 it took 3 days and it was at my door on the Gold Coast and it was genuine, I verified it on the xiaomi website with the code on the box

    • the neg vote wasn't because the item was expensive. The neg was because the item can be bought cheaper elsewhere (which is a valid reason to neg).

Others are arguing that my example isnt as reputable but that is subjective and does not mean Im not free to neg a deal I don't believe is a bargain. Whether something is a "bargain" is determined by whatever the community thinks…

      • fair enough, it does seem a bit harsh that you can't neg. The only reason that I can think of there are so many fakes of these, still don't let it get to ya. I actually have a fake one myself and have since bought a real one from mushtato.

  • I recently moved to Singapore and came to realise that Xiaomi powerbank (the one above) is very common here and normal pricing is around the $30SGD mark, and on sale, it can be had for low $20's during many of the expos/conventions (I kicked myself after I saw this). I know this is less relevant if you're in Australia and you can't access the pricing but it's something to consider if you're looking into buying one and are planning a visit to one of Xiaomi's Asian markets in the near future.

Bought mine for AU $27.86 a month ago…didn't think it was a bargain, most sellers were selling around that price. I checked the same auction and it seems my seller jacked it up to $32 so that's interesting
