    • I have not received mine yet. I live in Melbourne south east.

    • Nothing. I am in Sydney outer suburban.

I called Red Rock Deli on their 1800 number to ask what was happening with the boards. I was advised that they were held up in customs.

They were even nice enough to offer to send me some chips.

Tonight on Border Security: A large shipment of cheeseboards are shipped from China to a manufacturer of potato chips. But are there more to these cheeseboards than meet the eyes?

Customs Officer: There are inconsistencies in the X-ray image.

Ion scan machine: Bo beep, bo beep, bo beep…

  • Still haven't got my Cheese Board :(

  • Finally, I just received my board. I call bullshit it's valued at $25, it's a bit rough around the edges & overall quality is poor.

    • Good on you. I just received my chips but no board yet.

      • What chips??

Received board today as well. I agree, it feels a bit cheap and tacky.

          These chips. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/181326?page=1#comment-2688…

They were even nice enough to offer to send me some chips.

Two bags of 250g DDR chips delivered in a box. Postage and packaging probably cost more than the chips. Offered when you query the delay via telephone or email.

        • @alvian:

I got 3 bags. They must have been running out when they sent yours.

        • @what: You must have charmed them on the telephone, versus me sending them a short e-mail.

  • Hrmm..don't know if I'll use the board….I can still smell the varnish. Wouldn't want to be putting cheese on it. And yeh it's cheap wood, even fingernails dents it…it's like chipboard…

Edit: perhaps they jacmve excess stock. Competition is running again from 20 April to 14 June.
