Over at Deals Direct they have the 40" Medion going for $289.00 but shipping costs $33.95, with coupon LOVEDEALS it takes off $28.90 thus bringing the total to $294.05 not bad considering it's a 40" 100hertz LED with a built in DVD player, but it's up to you I think it's a bargain!

It's a refurbished TV but my TV at the moment is a refurb and it's been working fine just wanted a bigger TV.

      Yeah, it's been refurbished I think they resell refurbished aldi tv's.

        DealsDirect Warranty - We offer our own 12 month warranty against defects on all new electrical, petrol operated or motorised products.

        Given that these TVs are "refurbished" - i.e. second-hand - I'm guessing there's no warranty on them at all.

          The Medion TVs seem to have a very high failure rate and problems getting parts afterwards. Checkout the threads on Whirlpool. They seem like a bargain, but I think they are likely to be trouble.

          you'd only buy one direct from aldis where you can get your money back no questions for that 2yrs

    i have a 32" medion. it's good. but not great. it's USB playback has some issues with some formats - just play stuff through fetch box.
