Seems sold out online and instore for all of NSW (all 3 colours).

Edit: Actually looks like brown still in stock for delivery as I write this…

(I'm not buying it, so try your luck).

      Got one!

  • Thanks I managed to get a brown delivered for me and a mate $169 each :)

I already have a Bose QC15 noise cancelling which I love and use but these are too cheap to resist. My mate recently bought these overseas and I listened to them and they are about the same quality as the Bose imo. $169 is a bargain.

  • I can't get the coupon code to work?

    I get this message:
Coupon code "TWENTY" is not valid.

Make sure your not signed in

      • That was it. Now I have to cancel my other order.

    • it worked for me about 2 minutes ago. I signed in at checkout if that makes a difference.

  • sigh Too good to pass up. Just ordered a brown pair. The black and ivory look to be already out of stock for delivery.

  • Sold out most of perth… only choice is $10 shipping for the brown ones.

  • Ah well.. looking to buy ivory color yesterday, now sold out.

      purchases over $99

  • is it good for metal like black metal music (Saor, Caladan Brood, Emyn Muil, Summoning)?

  • All 3 colours are available for Home Delivery Now.

  • no they're not?

    • +1

They were all available for Home Delivery earlier today, but now only Ivory and Brown remaining.

      Black must be more popular??

      • I've seen Black in person, it's pretty good. Brown also looks impressive from pictures. Ivory seems a bit niche

        • All 3 colours are available again for Home Delivery. Looks like Dick Smith has added more stock today.

        • @solartommy: Did you try adding it to cart? I've been randomly checkung throughout the day and they show up in a search as available, but you can't add to cart or view the product page. Doesn't look like any of them are available at all.

        • @TheContact: Oh, I did not try adding to cart on Monday. DSE's page status showing they were ready for delivery. I was able to purchase a Brown one successfully on Sunday afternoon with FEB20 code, but I did not try to add to cart afterwards assuming it should work.

  • I tried these and few others in JbHifi, they sound good but I found HD280 Pro more appealing and pleasing to hear. Well this is subjective matter most people find these perfect but IMO, HD280 Pro felt more open with wider sound stage and (in my layman's terms) better sounding. =)
Point being, try these first before you buy.

  • Are these sold out? The link doesn't show them and searching through the site manually, I can't see them

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/brand/sennheiser/audio-mp3?dir=d…

It goes SENNHEISER Over-Ear Wireless Headphones RS120 for $249 then Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Headphones - Blue for $120

If I try the direct links to the products via the search suggestion it takes me to an internal Dick Smith 404 error page

  • Got my first Sennheiser headphones! Tried the night before and all sold out. Tried again this morning and it looks like the stock replenishes daily so managed to get one. Couldn't get the Click and Collect to work so ended up a delivery instead.

  • Just got my ear phones, and not sure if they are on-ear and not over-ear, they are quite small but that could be the design.

    • The ear-pads on the over ear version are fairly small from what I've read. Mine is with startrack for delivery today

      • Yeah I got mine this morning and got scared for a bit when I saw that my package said "11 parts" and "Made in Hong Kong"…freaked me out quite a fair bit. However, when I opened up said box, the Momentum was inside in pristine condition and sealed. Boxception…

The Sennheiser box itself is actually pretty big xD Very happy with DSE and StarTrack with the service. Thumbs up!

Will try the headphones later this arvo when I get the time.

      • Yeah, looking it up it seems to be it. My other headphones also have massive cans which doesn't help with perception lol.

  • I ordered the Sennheiser Momentum Headphones from DSE C&C. I received the order confirmation and they charged my credit card.
After a few days I called the collection store and they had no record of my order. I submitted an online query and awaiting a reply.
Then mysteriously a refund was processed on my credit card. No email to let me know there was a cancelation or why they'd refunded my payment.
I'm wary of using DSE C&C if they're not going to honour your purchase or at least tell you WHY they cannot commit to the transaction.

Store pickup is always a hit and miss for these hot ticket items. Once the store runs out they usually just cancel internet orders. Delivery is more reliable imo as it comes from their warehouse which would be a true reflection of stock I'd imagine

      • +3

The least they could have done was send me an e-mail…..

  • Thanks OP and DSE. Received mine this arvo. These kick ass! :)

  • Darn, I really wanted these headphones - by the time I committed to the purchase (after talking to my Minister of Finance), they were no longer in stock! :-( Any chance they will be available again for a similar price??

  • I have brown one if anyone want to get it, but I bought $179 so can only do at that price. im in sunshine, vic , 3020 ,I thinking return it to dicksmith this sunday.

  • I just got mine and they are 1)built in China 2)one of the cables has a white spot (like it was stuck in wet paint) 3)they are the brown ones (i ordered black)…
    I am extremely disappointed…

    • Yeah I got Brown instead of black. I suggest keeping them since they're out of stock everywhere. Just go in store to get a new receipt for the brown one for warranty purposes. They might tell you you could do it online but just say it's says on their online policy if there was a problem with the item delivered bring it back at any DSE.

    • Do other retail stores stock non-China made Momentums?

  • If anyone wants to sell their headphones for the purchase price (Ivory or Black), please contact me. :-) … sorry Brown Headphone owners, I'm not a fan.
