      Bruce Jenner already asked that…

This deal is perfect for you and your girlfriends

      Obviously, they are targetting Mormons…

      Sorry, female only training.

  • Who is the trainer ?

    • -1

The head trainers are Andrew Rawlins and Daniel Sands. Together they have more than 20 years experience in personal training. You can get more info on the team on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/toughgirlsaus

Why do these 2 males only want to train females ?

        • -2

They train male clients too, but Tough Girls is only for females. Sometimes females prefer to train only with other women. Also women tend to have different goals from men, so it is easier to tailor the sessions.

        • @jjcf: im not even going to bother negging your comment…. but good work champ….

      • +14

2 male trainers for a bunch of women training? where do i sign up for that job?

        • You have to lose the beer gut and get fit yourself first ;-)

but i already have 6 pack abs

        • +1

Ummm you could prolly just hang out at trevor barker oval and yell words of encouragement from the sidelines - to the girls as well as jong and his office buddies

  • +4

How do you verify that the participants are female?

  • Can I have some pics of sessions? For research.

I hope scott introduces a "BS" button next to deals.

  • +5

Alright that's it. I'm starting a 'Masculinist' minority group and I'm gonna protest the hell out of this!!! Who's in? For far too long us males have been left out of female only training sessions. IT'S TIME TO MAKE A STAND

    • +4

you can start with hiring 2 female trainers to train a male-only group?

"sorry sista, you ain't no man, then you ain't joinin' the club.."

  • -4

Gave you a +1. Not really sure how much sessions like this would normally cost elsewhere, so I can't really gauge how good a deal this is personally… but I appreciate female-only gyms (not hatin' on the guys at all.. just don't like feeling self conscious around men while working out or being ogled by men while working out… dammit just let me do my thing in peace! lol much more chilled out vibe in general too), and female-only training sessions is pretty much an extrapolation of that I guess.

    Poor Rep. lol

    • +2

You look like a turnip. Nobody is looking. Don't worry.

      • +2

        Dats why you ogle.

    • +1

just don't like feeling self conscious around men while working out or being ogled by men while working out…

These sessions are run in a public park, so you'll still have male witnesses.

oh so classy….. i think maybe the steroids kicked in a little hard.

        • +1

          shudder

        • oh… and i dont know if anyone spotted the comment in the bums pic but

no idea you were taking this photo. ha!

          stay classy fellas, stay classy…

    • If that's the reason behind having it as a female only thing wouldn't it make sense to have female PT's? Some of the seediest guys I know are PT's and only do it to train hot chicks while getting paid. Or does doing a 6 week course or however long it is automatically mean that they don't ogle? I don't even trust most bloody doctors.

  • Maybe you qualify to use this after you get the $85 complimentary haircut - maybe you lose enough of your masculinity

I like how if someone looks after their body, and has gone from being pretty damn unwell to being pretty fit, and can finally appreciate the way they look after 14 years of hating the way they look, and can crack lame arse jokes about it (which apparently is taken negatively around here), then you get negged seemingly… soon… into oblivion?

FWIW, most of my life has been a battle of anorexia. My BMI has hit and stayed at 13 longer than it has been at a healthy BMI in the recent number of years. Now I'm at a near healthy weight (half asian genes so lower end still) with good muscle tone but it's still a struggle.

Not sure why I'm posting this. Certainly not for pity. I guess I'm a bit annoyed. My earlier post was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek - I'm definitely not the type to think I'm "all that" or that blokes check me out at all. If people here are familiar with my posts, you'd know how low my self esteem generally is… so that part of the post was a bit cheeky. I accept the negs as I did come across as a conceited tit though. Blah.

Truth is, yeah, I did go to an all female gym because I started off at a ridiculously low weight and didn't want people staring at me as I started trying to put on weight and muscle from literally nothing.

    anyway.

    /srsness.

    :P carry on now…

    • Nobody knows you, you can't take it personally. Don't worry about it. I find we are only as good as our last post on this website. Which is great. If it helps, I am happy to check you out. :-)

    • hi turnip :)

  • Hey, how much do you guys pay to run your business in a public park? Because we pay a ton of rent for our office at work, and if we could just set up our business in the nearest park for free, it would cut our costs dramatically.

I wonder why anyone bothers to rent office/warehouse space any more, if parks are free?

    • Hmm not from Melbourne, so not too sure if Trevor Barker oval is considered public or private land.

Anyway to operate on public land, looks like they need to get a license from the council and can only operate in certain venues:

We have a permit to use Trevor Barker Oval.

    • Darebin Council in Vic asks for a fee from Personal Trainers to run their courses at local parks

    • Good l luck finding a powerpoint in a park.

      • I was with the kids last week at the park and someone was running personal training. Had the music blaring out of a small mazda hatchback. Every door and boot was open. The sound wasn't the best!

      • @jong - this may help you to set up your laptop, coffee machine, copy centre etc in the park - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/179698

      • Good luck finding clients here

  • Hi Rep,
I'm considering giving this a go, but do you accept gender neutral applicants/participants?

    Thanks

    • -1

Female only at this stage, sorry. If we branch out to gender neutral training only, I'm sure we'll put another deal on.

      • That seems a little unfair. I'm quiet feminine, I just don't associate myself with either sex. Guys look at me strange in the gym and females seem to be more accepting which I why I thought I might be ok to join.

        • Well this offer is for you and a minimum of 4 other people. If you have another 4 people you want to train with, I'm sure the trainers will be happy to accept your inquiry.

        • +1

waist up or waist down? I think we all know what 'female' is.

  • Female only? What is this, Saudi Arabia?

    • well, it seems Saudi's way is good for some.

  • -3

Looks like a reasonable deal ……….. but you have to read through and ignore the sexism and juvenile boy-stuff (yes, that will be most of you who neg me) to discover that.

    Sigh…!

    • +2

Go to saudibargain.com.sa for more gender segregated specials!

      • -1

And Sandringham is in what part of Saudi Arabia?

        • I said, if you want more deals similar to this one…

        • -1

          @MrZ:

Yes, I read that - I was just wondering about the relevance. But as there isn't any, I shouldn't have bothered.

        • @jackspratt:

I literally spelled it out in my post?! "gender segregated specials".
