Sony SRS-X3 Portable Wireless Bluetooth speaker $109 @ DSE (RRP $199)

80
FEB20

Just noticed DSE is doing $20 off orders $99-$299. This Sony speaker was already discounted to $129 which wasn't bad, so $109 is obviously more appealing.

Not quite as good as the pre-Christmas deal that had a free SRS-X2 thrown in, but this deal works for people wanting just one speaker and who can't be bothered eBaying a surplus one.

Bought one of these for the missus for Christmas and was surprised how good it is. Really great sound, good battery life, and it has this NFC thing which means you can just physically touch your phone to the speaker and it will connect automatically. Nifty, what.

Anyway there you have it.

You can get this at Costco for $132 plus a free SRS-X2 Portable Wireless Bluetooth speaker, but required Costco membership.

  • Good device, have one at home & one at work.

I doubt it was already discounted to $129; I was looking for about two months for a half decent Bluetooth player, out of chance I got a gift card but in those two months I never saw it go for less or more then $129, only with those storewide coupons did I see it less then $129. but I'd hardly call it a special price.

  • good price. Sony has them for $159

  • Have one, good sound.

Won one last year…. great sound for its size, quite deceptive really. Its quite weighty for its size and decent battery life, bass response also good unless you crank it right up. Has an audio jack input as well if you want to connect it to an ipad or other tablet as an external speaker for a music app like a synth/drumkit etc, handy as bluetooth generally has a bit of latency/delay and doesnt lend well to drum/synth apps.

    • Agree totally with the above. Bluetooth is quite laggy - fine for music but if using to watch a film its a long way out of synch. Audio jack works like a charm though :)

      • In case anyone isn't aware, if you use VLC to play videos, you can adjust the playback audio latency to get it back in sync.

  • It's now $99 from JB if you're subscribed to their newsletter. Ends 15th Feb.

    • Is that available to non subscribers as well?
