          Hmm well spotted.. Neg removed

          Still… "1 year Warranty from Personal Digital" makes this supplier a bit of a worry. Must be overseas model, being delivered from outside Australia? So, no Apple Warrantee? No Out of Warrantee replacements. No 2 year Consumer Guarantee?

          @A3Australia:

          Yep.. the one I linked are Australian stock with Apple warranty.
          I would expect there is an Australian tax invoice and you can even pick up from store and pay cash.

          The only issue is it has been handled (as pointed out) and therefore not right to compare it against new stock..

          What are you talking about? Did you actually read my post?

          "Still… "1 year Warranty from Personal Digital""

          Sure, there is supposedly an in store pick up available - but what's with the 1year store warrantee? Still makes me think they are not local models.

        • -1

          @A3Australia:

          Yes I read that.. Thats why I said "Yep".. Then I went and talked about the deal I linked..

        • -1

          @Cardz:

          I confused. Please be clearer in your posts/comments. I can't follow which 'deal' your are talking about when you keep switching WITHOUT mentioning the store's name.

        • -1

          @A3Australia:

          But I did say which one I am talking about..

          I said "the one I linked"

          Also please don't write new comments using the quote header. Its confusing me >.<

          But I did say which one I am talking about..
          I said "the one I linked"

          And after the "the one I linked" there was a full stop. Then you inserted a line break, and started again. So I thought that bit was about "Personal Digital".

          Also please don't write new comments using the quote header. Its confusing me

          What is a quote header? Is it this?
          @Cardz:
          Because, if so, it is inserted automatically by OzBargain when I click "Reply".

        • -1

          @A3Australia:

          No.. after "the one I linked" I immediately said is was Australian Stock and Australian warranty.
          There was no full stop and no new line. Look above if you don't believe me.

          This is a block quote header. Its supposed to be used for quoting.

        • So it's "the one I linked" :D

        • @A3Australia:

          Just to clarify its local model and there is a one-year limited warranty from Apple in Australia. However there is no GST in the invoice from Personal Digital for this particular product. You can pick up and pay in the store.

          @Cardz:

          There was no full stop and no new line. Look above if you don't believe me.

          I can see what you wrote. Here it is again. There IS a full stop, AND a new line.

          "Yep.. the one I linked are Australian stock with Apple warranty.
          I would expect there is an Australian tax invoice and you can even pick up from store and pay cash."

          Lets move on. You made a mistake, and later I made a mistake by using the ">" block quote tool in error.

          Of interest now is the OP stating that these phones are being supplied without GST being imposed, no tax invoice, by an Australian store in Sydney. Very strange.

          @buymestuff:

          Just to clarify its local model and there is a one-year limited warranty from Apple in Australia.

          Originally, you only stated that there was a Warranty from the store - Personal Digital. I see you just edited the OP to change this to state that the warranty is now from "Apple in Australia".

          However there is no GST in the invoice from Personal Digital for this particular product. You can pick up and pay in the store.

          This is very strange. Why is there no GST included? Personal Digital is registered for GST.

          Entity name: PERSONAL DIGITAL SERVICES PTY LTD
          ABN status: Active from 01 Jul 2012
          Entity type: Australian Private Company
          Goods & Services Tax (GST): Registered from 01 Jul 2012
          Main business location: NSW 2007

          @A3Australia:

          No look again.. whats after "the one I linked"?? is says are "Australian stock" and continues… there is not a directly a full stop and a new line as stated before I "started again"

          And after the "the one I linked" there was a full stop. Then you inserted a line break, and started again

          I cant believe you are still arguing about this. You couldn't read my message properly and argue to the hills when you are wrong..

    I've got both a YotaPhone 2 and an iPhone 6. If you have $800 to throw away on a smartphone, then throw it on the YotaPhone 2 unless there is something crucially tying you to Apple services.

    • +4

      Why is it when anyone posts a apple product that there are those who are compelled to promote something else. Its not the same, so move on.

      • -2

        Yup, if you find cheaper forbthe same product, please share it. That's what ozb for.
        There's no way you can bent fanboy (nokia, apple, droid, windows bla bla) they got the money, no mater how overrated overpriced the goods. They will buy it

      • -1

        No, one is a piece of shit (iPhone) and another is somewhat worthwhile.

        This is for the idiots who are spending $800 on a phone in 2015 anyway. To emphasize: if you spend $800 on a phone in 2015, you are an idiot. An idiot. Rain the negs all you like, but it's the equivalent of spending $3000 on a family PC now.

        • +1

          So why are you bothering shoving this shit, when it has nothing to do with you? And given your iPhone 6 you claim to have, what does that say about you.

          I drive a basic car, its a car it goes from A to B which is all a Ferrari can do, albeit a little faster, but I leave the Ferrari posts to the Ferrari lookers. I don't see the need to tell them what they like.

    I prefer the non-apple version

  • For those that plan to use it for music or photo storage I strongly recommend you pay a little extra for the 64 GB or 128 GB models.
