I like the sound of that

    • I hear what you did there

      • Nobody is listening

        • Ear we go again with the lame puns!

  • Any 'bargains' per se!?

Qantas usually have orginally high prices on items

When using the cost of a $100 Myer gift card at 15,100 points, a pair of Bose QC25's cost $324. I think duty free price on these is about $330.

Yup. Qantas knows what we need:

Headphones to block out the noises screaming infants/toddlers.

    • Precious adults!

How do you expect the infants/toddlers to travel? In the luggage area?

      • It worked for Jodie Foster?

      • -1

        that'd be great

    • Well congrats. You only have to put up with them for a couple of hours, while those of us that actually take our kids with us have to put up with them the whole time we're away!!!

      • -3

Well that's your choice, not mine. Your kids your problem. Shouldn't become mine… Or the problem of the fifty other people around you.

        • @muncan:

Except we're stuck in a little metal tube high up in the sky with nowhere else to go to get away from the noise.

        • @blahman:

I'd love to help, but I suffer from this

        • True, it is my choice, and I'm happy to do it.
Likewise, it's your choice too. So if you're not happy with it, may I suggest an alternative mode of travel… perhaps the Titanic or Hindenburg!
Ps. I'm also a QANTAS Club member, so don't think for a second you'll get any peace in there either! ;)

          @Snoop:
That is the same as me minding my own business on a street corner and someone walk right up next to me and light up a ciggy.
"Excuse me, but your cigarette smoke is causing me much discomfort"
"If you don't like it go bugger off and stand somewhere else."

While I can appreciate that parenting is tough and you go through sleepless nights and all that, it does not entitle you a free pass to disturb everyone else in the cabin and that the well being of others are secondary to your plight.

I can be considerate and bear with crying children on short daytime flights and take joy in seeing happy laughing children. But, for heaven's sake if your child is not ready for air travel, don't take them on over night long haul flights.

If everyone else needs to be considerate of the parent, why does the parent need not be considerate of the other passengers?

  • No Sony SRS-X3?

  • Any thoughts on the senheiser momentum over ear for 39,950 points?

JB Hifi sell them for $399…

(Still spewing I missed the dick smith momentums for $159 the other day argh)

  • i missed SONOS 3 deal last month, is It better than Bose Soundlink III?

  • Better off spending your points on flights, you get more bang out of your point, but this is a decent deal if you don't fly often
