  • Lamb cutlets are normally $35? WTH?

    • Yeah not cheap these days, Coles are $34kg atm

      • Good Lord.

    • The cutlets at WW last night were the smallest I have ever seen. Tiny little portion of meat on a long bone. Did not buy even at $21 a kilo. They were #^^#ing rubbish. The cutlets at the butcher outside WW put the WW stock to shame.

Why advertise a special then sell poorest quality product? You are totally failing the customer.

Fancy having a meat special then excluding them.

A Woolies discount tip, to add to previous tips

Having multiple EDR cards, and seldom using some, Woolies gives offers to get you spending again - in store only Mon-Thurs.

Have received multiple instant $10 off $50 offers on 2 EDR cards last used for $1 Telstra Starter Packs deal before Christmas.

After using 4 of those over 2 weeks, offer changed to $10 voucher on next spend with $50 spend on 1 card, & $15 voucher with $100 spend on other - unused. That happened for next 3 weeks.

Now it's the Easter spend over 3 weeks with different offer on each card - best for me being a $30 gift card for 3 weeks of $50 spend. One offer was a $25 gc for 3 $150 spends! I usually don't spend more than $50/wk at Woolies.

So that's 10 x $10 discounts over first 8 weeks of this year, on a little over $460 spend in store.

Love watching the face of staff as they scan 1 voucher to give $10 off $60 spend, then there's another $10 off voucher at the end of new receipt for that $50 spend.

Of course paid by 7.5% Woolies eGift Cards, bringing total savings to around $134.50 off $460+ spend, or 29% saving on mainly discounted specials ;-)

Then there is the free food from local Woolies deli, which charges full price on some specials on first day of sale - so it's free! Computer fault, so ongoing freebies.

So worthwhile having a few spare EDR cards for the discounts ;-)

    • Are all your EDR cards registered to the same address? I thought they restricted the number allowed for a household.

      • Yes, under different family members names (eg the cat) otherwise use 1/… & 2/… etc
        Never had any problems.

10% OFF Meat - where's JV when you need him.

I'd like a further 10% off the fat they leave on most of their meat.

    • If you want your fat cut off your meat just ask the meat people and they will remove it, that's what my coles does for me :)

      • Does that work online?
Should do - put it in note to your shopper, when placing meat order.

Shopping in store when butcher section is closed - that won't work.

      • Remove the fat and reprice it?

      • Do they re weigh it after they cut the fat off?

        • They are meant to

        • @TRENT86:
Will give it a go thanks

        • @TRENT86:
Tried it today at woolies. Some guy I asked told me he would do it but charge me the heart smart
          price.
Won't stop me from trying every other time I buy it

  • I keep on getting this error message when I applied the code to $40 bucks worth of meat.

Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion.

        Edit: Now works.
