For that price I would have expected Pendo to have 2GB.

Same specs at Target (thought different image) for $179: http://www.target.com.au/p/pendo-pad-16gb-quad-core-tablet-1…

      And runs Android instead..

      • Oh whoops! Yep. My bad :(

  • Very similar to Harvey Norman homebrand
Unisurf Windows 10 but Hardly Normal at $293 when it could be had for $249 with a less imaginative brand name Pendo as opposed to Unisurf.

  • Have feeling that it's OEM of Efun's Nextbook 10"

  • One day pendo might up there with Samsung. We live in hope

  • I don't understand why the keep creating windows tablets in Australia with only 16gb of memory. The articles/forums I've read about tablets with 16gb of space all say that after windows updates there is no room left. 1gb of ram is a bit low for a tablet that costs over $200. Maybe some of these Australian manufacturers should take a look at some of the specs and prices on the cheaper windows tablets available in the US that aren't available here.

Because people buy them. Simple economics. Same as why Apple charges more for an iPhone, because people will buy them.
