Did you find two more units out the back?

    • Maybe, but they could have 20 units but decided they would only do the special for some of them. I know some companies do that for promotional reasons.

I found that although people post bargains with insufficient quantities, I still like to see them, they should be moved to Forums or something. Like yesterday, I saw the Bunnings BBQ for $119, luckily I got the pic before it was removed from Ozbargain for insufficient quantity, then got another Bunnings to pricematch it.

Agree. I'd rather see them. If they sell out/expire, so be it. At least some of us had a chance to buy if we were interested.

If it gets dodgy, we downvote (not to forget heckle and troll tactics which we all seem to do quite well when someone offers 70% off after doubling their RRP the day before).

Strange how you had 8 just 30 minutes ago (post removed for insufficient quantity). Did you 'add' 2 so you could post the deal? Who's to know right :)

This is so dodgy! They only had 8 and now they magically have 10 so their Advertisement can stay on OzBargain

OP, why this camera without lens is a bargain? How much for a lens?

    • +1

It uses Micro Four Thirds system, so it depends on which lens you want, they range from $100 to $1500 lol.

Only thing that is preventing me from buying this is…. No Hot-Shoe!
All the ultra compacts don't seem to include a hot-shoe, wished they did. Looks similar sized to Panasonic GM1.

It is common knowledge that if you are seriously into Photography you wouldn't really use the Kit Lenses due to their not so ideal apertures. Which is most likely the reason why they have opt'd to do a body only.
Also this camera company doesn't make any lenses at all since it leverages the MFT system, cuts costs and leaves the lenses to the bigger players.

      • Thanks.

        No Hot-Shoe!

Why do you want a hot shoe on a video camera?

It has a top screw mount to add a cold shoe or rig for LED lights, microphone etc.

        • That's true. lol. I was under the impression this was a digital camera with a method to take pictures. Looks like this one is more a Video Camera than a Still Photos Camera.

Hi guys, the original agreement was for 8 but we've just negotiated more stock with the vendor so we can still give first preference to OzBargain :) sorry for the confusion.

    • Thanks for the clarification.

Could be cheaper when blackmagic was having it for half price :P

    • Great find. By reading the post looks like this seller (VideoPro) have had it for sale in the $5XX price range about 7 months ago.

      Can you confirm Daniel??

      • Hi TightBottom, yes last year Blackmagic ran a worldwide promotion for less than a week where the pocket cameras were half price.
If you can find a cheaper advertised price for genuine Australian stock we'll be most happy to try and match it.
