          No, I am a bird.

Is is a bird? Yes. Is it a plane? No.

  • Can't seem to choose any options

    • Same here. Can't add to cart because you have to choose an unchooseable option.

  • Do not buy this SH***Y phone! Works great if you only want to use 3g…

    • Are all it's problems associated with using 4g?

Is it a good phone for the money if I was happy to only use 3g anyway?

      • +1

For me yeah. I've read that the fingerprint reader isn't the best but I don't really use it much.
If I had bought the phone for $429, I wouldn't be that annoyed about no 4G.
Interestingly, there are no phone mounts for it… I've been searching ebay and nothing has appeared.

Second that. I've got one and the only way to stop it from not receiving any signal is to put on 3g only.

Interestingly tho, someone just told me it works fine on Telstra 4g, its just the Optus 4g network it has problems with…

    Can someone confirm?

I bought a voda sim, an optus sim and a lycamobile sim (on telstra network) and they are all crap.
The guy at Samsung repair told me to take the phone to telstra to get them to fix it…

It works with 4G on telstra right after a restart. Doesnt last long before it craps itself tho.

  • I paid $860 when it first came out

    • $770 for me.

      • Unbelievable…. how can you guys paid that amount of money for a mid-range phone.

          Maybe they have jobs?

        • @Orpheus: what are they?

        • Unemployed. But I had a job when I bought it…

  • Similar price here: http://www.mobileciti.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=samsung…

Also free shipping so a few dollars cheaper if delivered.

  • I'm yet to work out how bad/weak my reception is on my phone, as I'm still on Amaysim 3G prepaid but will be signing up to Optus My Daily plan (4G) real soon.

So it's only the 4G reception that's bad on this phone?, or are there others as well.
Such a shame as it's a nice looking phone and is very light to me at least, my only downside was the size, prefer something the size of a Z3 Compact.

Has anyone gotten a refund based on this issue? or got it fixed? (if it can).
