    Wow great price !

Refusing to vote on anymore deals as mods can remove your vote as they see fit , so there is no point in voting in rigged systems

what the heck are you talking about, if you vote stupid or not justified then i could see why they would, but ive never seen them do that before… and ive seen some pretty stupid stuff…they arent going to remove your + if your legit.

Special Bundle price with the Sierra Compass 885 USB 7.5 mb 3G Modem

why would you need to buy a seperate 3g modem, isnt this a wireless + 3G modem?

"The router is ISP Independent and relies on modem compatibility."
so you buy this and you plug a modem into it i'd imagine, pretty average idea.. why not make an all in one.

      • 2 reasons.

        1. People like being able to pull out the modem and take it on the road, but share it when at home. also they usually get/buy the modem as part of signup.
        2. all in ones that take sim cards are usually aimed at business' and attract business pricing.
        • Thanks for this info; I'd like to collect one in Melbourne as I'll be there this weekend and early next week.
With a Sydney address, can I specify Melbourne collection? At the order cart I had to choose a delivery fee (no apparent way to request collection).
How quick and easy is it to collect from your shopfront? We're at a city hotel but I have wheels.

          Thanks!

          • @bizi: Just put 3000 as the postcode in the delivery address and the option will come up.

Very easy to pickup if you order online.

            Cheers

    • umm ok, they remove your vote if you don't have a valid reason. I have voted in anger a few times and have had my vote removed. However, i completely understand why they did it. I think if you think you've been really hard done by, perhaps post it in the forums where it can be discussed.

    • EDIT: i read your previous comments on the other thread. You should create a post in the forums to discuss the issues. i tend to agree with the mods, however i can see both points of view.

      • No problems Davo thanks for the advice , think i am happy with the result so far.

Okay Davo took your advice and created a topic in the forum

  • IS anyone else collecting from the shopfront? I've tried to order online; please note my question, above, to BroadbandGear.

    Thanks again!

  • Great Price!

  • Is this compatible with the CrazyJohn's U6T 3G modem?

    • No unfortunately. That device is bought in by CJ themselves (well ultimately) and is kinda a one off at the moment.

Im sure we'll see things pop up for it, but its not one of the Big 2, so will be lower on the priority in peoples firmware updates.

  • Ah - I thought this was too good to be true. So no 3G included?
Hardware wise, its just a regular wifi-router with a USB port?

Is it as good as a ASUS WL-500g Premium running open-WRT?
