    • A few weeks ago, the overears were 179 on DS. It was the best price i saw and i had to take it. Too bad they didn't have the sexy ivory colour anymore…

i think even further back (by a few weeks), the on ears were 79 on DS…

The Garmin HUD looked decent until i read the reviews……

$70 every year to use the map. What a joke.

    • +1

Got mine from ebay, the device itself is good but the navigon software is a joke. Have to pay $60 to start using it and now after a month I switch back to google maps.

      • agree, very comfortable with google maps. the only downside is no speed limit warnings

i've got a windows phone atm, and Here now isn't bad, though it doesn't integrate search with direction as well. Eg, if you were looking for a restaurant, in google maps, you can just easily get directions from within the app. Here now is a bit of a hit and miss.

ps Here now is a map app…

    • Was looking at the Garmin HUD too, then some time after browsing the web, I pre-ordered a Navdy…. wtf how does this happen to me

  • Anyone know what model the Beats by Dr Dre is? Can't seem to find it on the website
Edit: Nevermind - I didn't realise Executives is a model name

      Don't buy them!

      • yeap. I wouldn't recommend any beats. Except for beats pro. Those are actually quite good. But you do pay the premium price. This sennheise onears are very good at these prices.

    • +1

Buy the Sennheiser Momentums instead and don't look back at the Beats. Ever.

      • +1

        don't look at beats, ever.

There are some good bargains in that lot, this being a decent buy in my view, Samsung 16MP GALAXY Camera 2 WiFi - White for $209.40 plus delivery, next cheapest on ebay is $140 more, also with catch of the day ebay store.

    • It sold out now :(
I am looking to buy one

      • Sorry, not from me. I thought about buying a couple, but bit short this month. Did not get one myself, but saw they were a good buy, I wasn't alone.

        • just won an ebay auction for the first model for $165 :)
          its seem good price

        • @msmhw:

Aaaah,…was that you. I was keeping an eye on that in case it went for under $100. I was not bidding against you :-) Hoop you get many good years out of the unit and enjoy.

  • Grabbed a couple of Footswitch Powerboards for $30 delivered…I'm expecting extreme power savings COTD!

    • Why do they look like UK (Type G) plug points instead of Australian ones?

    • Unless you desperately want NC, why would you ever choose Bose over Sennheiser?

      • Because freedom.

      • for the price, the sennheiser is actually quite good value. I've got the over-ears, so they do block noises better than these on-ears, but i don't really notice background noise much (eg, outdoor with cars, people walking). But you can hear trams and trains. (sl. rumbling).

you win some, you lose some

        • I know, I would rather the sen momentum over ear than the Bose. Irrespective of price.

I really need to stop buying headphones… Have so many cheap and a few midrange sets… Could have just bought something top end instead.. Lol

    • love your username ;)

  • $4.95 for a dual USB car charger… but $7.50 for shipping :-(

  • Grab this:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/184674

…and spend over $30 to get an extra $10 off ;)

  • How would these compare to the Philips Citiscape Uptowns I got from Dick Smith (for $50) at the start of the year?

    • This would definitely be a step up in sound clarity, mainly in top end and slightly tighter bass. They look good too, but that is even more subjective than the sound.
