    I am having trouble ordering.
    After completing delivery and payment address etc. I select PayPal payment and get directed to log into my PayPal account and select a funding source.
    Once I can pay now, I get re-directed to the home page on 9289.com asking for my log in details again.

    I have re-tried this on multiple PCs.

        I'm also having trouble paying via PayPal, it came up with an error the first time and now it won't load after I click "Confirm Order". Paypal keeps giving me an error saying to go back to the sellers website.

        But it looks like they're offering the 'V2400 eco', in which case I have no idea…cup holder perhaps? Pretty ugly still….why must the base be off to one side.

          From the Benq blurb: "multi-function round holder placed into its signature asymmetrical base stand to serve as a handy spot for small keepsakes or mini plant pot." - methinks the designer may have been indulging in some "horticulture" of their own! :p

          That base sure did fall outta the ugly tree from a fair height alright, appears to have struck an equally substantial number of branches on the way down too! Pray it's wall-mountable! ;)

          Nice deal though, sweet little laptop for the bucks! :)

    Its either you get a DVD with it or you must place an order for one. Free upgrade is not a redemption! Your just entitled to apply for a Win7 DVD upgrade thats mailed to you and shouldnt take more then 1 week.

    Exact same model but no screen, and they offer to pre-load it for you - which is definitely preferred! =]

    I wouldn't mind paying them the $35 I have to pay ASUS to ship Windows 7 if they offered the same for what they're doing on this one.

        Some customer will more like intel chipset. But i have to check with our product manager. which chipset are running in this laptop.

        But, don't worry whatever it's good or bad. Asus laptop come with 2 years international warranty.

        you don't have to worry about the service for Asus laptop.

      Can you outline some pros/cons other than the price? I can't seem to find any reviews on Google. (Technically, it's $989 for the laptop if you don't want the 24" LCD Screen)

      I'm more interested if it's going to perform slower - I will be using it for Gaming + Home Entertainment / Media Centre + File Storage .. would the SiS influence this significantly?

        sorry I'm not the expert to answer your question, it really depends on your expectation on the laptop. SIS chipset has been used in a few of low end products from ASUS, but you won't find it on any Thinkpad, TOSHIBA, SONY, etc (maybe I'm wrong), so it is your own choice :)

      Normally take about 1-3 working day to verify you detail. That's to ensure your are the credit card owner.

      But you can use paypal, That will be more faster then credit card.

    I paid by direct bank deposit last night, so it will take time to transfer funds from my Commonwealth account to National Bank account. What will happen if it is sold out and the fund has not been transferred?

      When you ordered the laptop the quantity which can be sold would have been reduced by one preventing someone else ordering your laptop so even though it has sold out yours should be put aside for you.

      I paid by direct bank deposit last night, so it will take time to transfer funds from my Commonwealth account to National Bank account.

      If you paid after 5PM and Commonwealth is anything like my bank the money will not appear in 9289's account until Monday
