If the strongest performer in your bedroom …… oh, never mind.

    • Lol i m single fyi. Price is 50 bucks.

      • Was going to comment, but er, ah, maybe I won't go there. :)

    • What ever floats his/her boat I guess

    Very D-Links. Such reliable.

    • That's why they're always for sale at outlets that open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Their future plans may be to sell through 24 hour service stations. Because you never know when a DLink is going to crap out on you

That $11 DIR-632 once flashed with DD-WRT was a great deal. Mine's still going strong.

    • I was at officeworks yesterday and there were at least two D-Link routers with reduced prices due to being customer returns. It was a clear indication that I shouldn't buy one.

      • Not necessarily so. If the routers are dead then OW would not be able to offer them for resale. Most likely the customers picked the cheaper product on the shelves and did not realise that routers do not work as ADSL modems.

  • Always good to extend your range in the bedroom

  • It's $49 down from $89, just be aware that the WAN port is 100mbps so the advertised ac speeds are limited

    • Havent had much trouble wrt speed bt i reckon u hv a point

wt d u mn wth tht

It means what liam says is probably right although personally i have not faced any major issues. Okay hope you guys liked the deal. It was my first. Signing out for tge moment. Will b back with more awesome deals.

    • The speed of the WAN port is less important than that the LAN ports are also only 10/100s, if this is plugged directly into your modem you will see no reduction in speed from the WAN, as internet speeds even with the NBN are less than 100Mbps.

  • Does anyone know a good msi i7 4710 (or better) deal. Bugdet under 2k 17." thanks fr help

    • a good msi i7 4710 (or better) deal

by definition this router is NOT "NBN ready"

the lack of gbe is kinda meh in 2015

  • What classifies this as AC? Dual band N routers go to 900 Mbps.

    • surely you know how to google?

      AC750 is 1x1 at 433Mbps

  • WTF is a cloud router

    • +1

it allows you to access the cloud like derrrr

as opposed to other routers which…. um… errr

    • You can log into a special D-Link web site and monitor and configure the router. Contrast with using the router's built-in remote management, which involves configuring the router, writing down the router's public IP (or sign up to a Dynamic DNS service), and securing the router.

Part of D-Link's "Cloud" products which currently consist of routers (not that useful), webcams (useful for monitoring your home), and storage (access your home NAS from the web). All doable without D-Link's "Cloud", but require intermediate knowledge and skill in network protocol management.
