  Because I am sat here waiting for a phone call I thought I would cost out our winter sojourn in Thailand:

  Fastcover = $547.80

  Insureandgo = $353.85 (Top level cover and $100 excess and using a freely available discount code for 20% off (groupon20))

  Draw your own conclusion.

  Also I love the deal clincher "you'll receive immediate Unlimited Cancellation travel insurance cover" - would have thought immediate was pretty standard.

  In case you are still wondering, I insured with Insureandgo many months back.

  1. Bali 1 week 30 March till 7th of April $58 with their standard cover or 71 with their premium cover

  2. TID $50 and i didn't bother looking for a promo code - could get it down to $45

    What is the age of the traveller?

    For a 40 year old for example from 30 March till 7th of April
    1. Fast Cover is $40.10 for Standard and $53.40 for Comprehensive
    2. TID for a 40 year old from 30 March till 7th of April is $50.00

      Forgot to mention I did the quotes on a $100 excess and the age of the traveller is 27.

      Your standard excess seems to be $200
