90 day warranty. Not sure if worth it, have read too many things about a few issues with these

Also US$274.39 = $359 direct conversion (not including fees)
    $433 brand new from HN

Thats the better deal. $74 more, brand new, local stock, full warranty

    • True, but at ~20% more not quite as attractive.

I was just thinking.. how many Asus Refurb offers for these T100 style units I see on here, why so many Refurbs to begin with? is there some serious flaw with the design of this unit?

Yes, the screen is made of wafer, they cracked easily. Don't bother asking them for warranty repair, they will charge you $350 for screen replacement, that is if your lcd still intact. A friend of mine bought this for his daughter as part of year 9 requirement and a bunch of other parents, and every single one from her grade has cracked screen.

Just 1 of many comments made on these. But hey each to their own, depends if you cant find value in $74 to get brand new, factory warranty and local stock.

    • It's also not quite the same model, the refurb is a Z3740, the HN one is the Z3735F.
There may be other differences but haven't checked that deeply.

additionally, from Static ice i found this one….

10 bucks more roughly, but with 12 months warranty.

  • I hate you USD
