    Any bargains though ?

Not much point in getting $20 off but still paying more than other stores…

Wish Dicksmith would allow coupons for gaming software again. So sick of reading their terms and conditions over & over in hope

    • I'm always looking at "Prepaid Mobile Products" and sighing.

Once again code doesn't work when you add two Logitech G502 mice to the cart.

Given up on DSE … dealing with their support is like jumping on a merry go round full of dumbasses.

Me: This discount code doesn't work and its not on the exclusion list.
    Them: We don't have stock.
Me: But it shows as available online and in store (sent with screenshot).
    Them: We don't have stock.
Me: Then why can I order it.
Them "Dick smith online doesn't have stocks for that item. We are afraid that you can still purchase but we are not able to provide one. Since the item has a lower price, we may suggest to place an order now."
Me: This is the problem, I can't place an order because it continually gives me a "Coupon code is not valid" message.

Facepalm (June Cruz wins award for least helpful and sensible replies. Well done June!)

    • Basically they have an item discounted but it does not mean you can actually purchase it at that price. This is just to entice you to buy it so that when it goes back to full RRP you wont think twice but order it . What I call smart psychology!

    • I Just called DS, the Lady I spoke to (Mandy?) said she could process the order online manually, but the catch is I have to have it posted, No click and collect available.

      I too wanted the logitech G710+ for $99.99. (119.99 - $20 TGIF20).
But would have to pay $10 postage, so the keyboard would come to ~$110.

DS Customer service is pretty useless though, as she could not explain to me why it matters if I purchase for delivery or for click and collect.

I think Im going to pass and wait for another sale, where I dont have to run around hoops.

      • Unfortunately they don't (or won't) fix these issues in any future sale.
Same issue I'm having happened with the last DSE sale.

Its false advertising to say you can have this discount (by sending customers/subscribers an email), then you take the time to read through the exclusions, inform them of the error and their response is to send you a template email which fails to address the problem … with the aim that you hopefully won't bother them again.

  • DSE does jack up price (maybe for some items) when they have these promo on.

Were interested to buy a brother printer for weeks. It was normallly $129.

When there is a promote like this DSE jack up the price to $149.

If you think you are getting a deal here you better do your homework.

  • It is tiring to ready the long exlusion term each time and I have pretty much disregarded the endless promotion from DSE these days
