    • If you are an entertainment book member, 5% discount on the ticketmaster vouchers.

    • Just one thing with ticketmaster, delivery charges (I'm sure even for e-tickets).

  • +1

    $40 is ridiculously expensive.

  • I feel silly for buying it at 20% off :(

    • +1

      It's only about $2 difference.

      • I bought like 10 tickets for 2 families and also carnival ride tickets

        • +1

All in all, it evens out, so just go and buy the Bertie Beetle showbag.

    • Heh, same here… waited til the last day of the 20% off code to see if any better deal would appear, didn't see one so bit the bullet.

  • +3

Is anyone going mostly for the Bertie Beetle showbag too?

  • +1

Still cheaper than wet n wilds Prices of $80.

    • can get below 50$ with groupon/ living social (cheaper with discount codes..so around 40s)

Can also buy directly on the wet n wild website for $49.99

        • its $45 on groupon now + 5% cash back a bit better :), or living social 49.99 plus an extra 10%-20% regular discount voucher + 7% cash back

  • +3

Is there any code available giving discount on the family ticket?

    • 2 adults, 2 children is $99 compared to family of $115+… so just add the family in individually..

  • Thanks OP.

    • Thanks Martijn, I had no idea they had something like this on at moore park. Might take my kids along over the easter break.

    • thanks alot Martijn, didnt know this existed…. will go there instead of the exorbitant fees @ eastershow

    • BTW what's the parking arrangement like there? Free onsite? or paid?

      • There's a big paid parking garage there, fees are reasonable.

I should clarify, it's not as big as the Easter show… But if you have kids that are under about 6 years old, this is probably better, less cost, more young child friendly rides.

        • smaller would be better…for us :P
Yea my little girl is only 2 so should be perfect! :)

        • @homersyd: petting zoo is present.

        • If it's a sports event day, parking is expensive - check.

    • Thanks for this. I've booked unlimited family 4hr pass for $64 through price pal/our deal and should get 7.5% cash back too!

  • +1

Why can't eastershow be on cashrewards :(

  • Fark, I just bought them @ full price last night, got the tickets today, didn't know about a promo!

    • +2

Full price… who doesn't search OzB first! ;)

    • Surely you jest! They even have 10% off at Woolworths - less 5% paywave/7.5% e-giftcard.

  • +9

It was my absolute dream to go to the easter show in Sydney when I was a kid around 5 - 9 years old. I lived in Canberra then so never made it. I'm finally going for the first time ever, partly because of this Discount and i'm 26 years old now.

    • Just a short delay then.

    • +1

Lower those expectations there champ! I mean, it's good, esp if you've never been - various events and stalls, etc - but don't hype it up too much, or you might be disappointed. Also, expect to may goodly amounts for food and drink.

      • +1

nah,$2 cheese toasties and you're set xD

    • Unfortunately, the Showlink ticket doesn't include transport from Queanbeyan only from Goulburn.
Now that you mention it I now have a strange desire to visit a regional show. I must get out to the Easter Show myself someday, I haven't been to one since it left Moore Park.

    • The Canberra Show is better.

  • +1

Also worth taking a punt and seeing if you get them for free :)

  • Great stuff shame we can't get a code for the ride coupons but if you sign up for extreme rider club on the shows website they will send you discount ride vouchers via email.

  • Thanks OP

  • +5

remember to take your life savings with you if u taking the kids…u gonna need it !!!

    • Take kids. Kids join travelling troupe. Profit. Simple.

  • +2

be careful not to step in the horse shit

  • How long is this code valid for?

  • +1

As a kid the Easter show was a favourite memory. Year after year. Expensive but well worth the entry costs.

  • thanks you appreciate the code..

  • Waiting for the PayPal VIP deal (special price ticket with VIP reserved seat for the parade)) but have not seen it happened.

  • Remember this is a Showlink ticket, so factor into the price return public transport from anywhere on the Sydney metro network.

    • +1

It's not a win for Opal users. They should figure out some way to rebate the transport cost to those who use Opal to get there,

      • +3

If you have a showlink ticket, you don't use your opal card. No rebate required!

        • -1

You're missing the point. You might be getting the trip for free on Opal or using the Opal card to the Easter Show might lower your weekly travel cost. While embedding public transport into an event ticket encourages peoples to use public transport it needlessly increases the cost for some regular public transport users.

        • Stingo is right, as I am an Opal user like many others, we will generally have free trips on weekends so the savings of the showlink ticket provides no benefit for us Opal users.

  • Might be a silly question, but how do we actually use these tickets to catch public transport? How do I use it to go through Train gate?

    • sorry everyone for the silly question. I can't seem to apply the 25% off to the family ticket. How do you do this? I can see 25% off adult, kids and concession, but not the family ticket. Many thanks.

    • Just show the printout ticket to the station staff when you want to pass through the gate.

  • How can you get entertainment book member offer - 5% discount on the ticketmaster vouchers?

  • If you still want tickets near Hurstville station there are two travel agents who sell cheap tickets for the same price.
    $32 adult
    $20 child
    $24 concession

Closer to the station is Oz Travel Services, but they charge you 50c per ticket to print it out. They will email the ticket to you free.

I went to Kooview Group (Level 1, 202 Forest Road, upstairs it's the shop on the right) further down the road (4 min from station), as they didn't charge me, therefore that's my recommendation.
