Excellent, I like the Chobani oats yoghurt, time to stock up

    • +2

Time for me to try it.

    • still works out to $14.40 / kg … very dear compared with other good yoghurts.

      • +3

        Incorrect calculation.

It's actually $1.44 for 140 gms therefore the price per kilo is $10.28~

Still not as cheap as some 1kg tubs of yoghurt but much better than $14.40 per kg

        • full marks to you.

unrelated, do you know where to get a very high quality "lucky cat"? I only ever see the cheap cats and don't think they can capture much luck. (probably sounds silly i know)

        • @Son ofa Zombie:
          Japan - where they originated.

        • @nismo: any links? I have tried previously without luck :(

          Looking probably for solid brass

        • @Son ofa Zombie:
I've seen high quality ones in Japan, not sure if they are here. Can ask around though.

Someone got their catalogues early this week. Well done, nice post.

  • +42

    I deliver them :)

    • +8

Haha!! Great work. So hurry up and post the Coles one as well :)

      • +24

since you asked so nicely have just posted it.

        • +3

You're killing it tonight. Well done.

    • +12

Bonus points if you got into the catalogue-delivery game specifically to get the earliest possible preview of specials.

Now that would be a true OzBargainer. lol

      • +3

Get into the Printing game for even earlier access ;)

      • +2

Just doing it for the exercise and to make a little extra cash. But yeah it's great when we get coupons and free samples as there's usually alot left over.

        • Out of interest, how do you get paid to deliver them? Do you use walk4cash or something else?

        • +1

          @WithVenom: yes through walk4cash

        • @aussie28: And if I may ask, as someone looking to get into distributing for a little extra cash, how much would you estimate your hourly rate to be delivering flyers?

        • +2

@WithVenom: Including the time it takes to fold them all up $20-$25p/h however this is in regional QLD and from what I have heard it pays alot less in capital cities.

        • @aussie28: Ah okay. Thanks so much for the info. I might have to give it a miss, since I'm smack bang in the middle of Sydney!

    • +1

      And the Magnums.

      • +2

Keen to try the new(?) Espresso Magnums. The holy trinity of ice cream, chocolate and coffee!

    • Also added toothpaste and grapes to the shopping list.

For those with EDR, im not sure if its a specific offer but i got an easter promotion.
Spend $40 save $10, for 3 weeks in a row starting 26th. It makes these bargains just that extra bit sweeter.

    • Coupon booklet I'm assuming? Mine had $5 off or 300 QFF points for $50 spend 3 weeks in a row :/
$10 off $40 would be so great for Opal top ups.

      • Not a coupon, it was an email from EDR.

        Hi ATangk,
There’s nothing better than an instant saving on your everyday shop.
And when you shop at Woolworths over the next three weeks, you can SAVE MORE instantly. Enjoy your savings in any or all three weeks – it’s up to you. Just Activate your offer by 22 March 2015 and remember to start shopping in Week 1. It’s that simple.

You have to activate the offer though, hence targeted, and unique.

    • Mine was 'spend $30 and get $5 off, 3 weeks in a row'.

      You win. :(

      • +1

I think the tip is to either
        a) activate offers and not use them
        b) dont activate offers, dont scan EDR and they will spam u with more offers until you shop at WW

        • I mostly do a), and don't scan my EDR.
          I think it's just a lottery. ;)

        • +1

          Definitely b)!

Comparing myself and my brother's EDR, (one being scanned during each shop, the other not being used at all), the unscanned card always gets the more generous offers, eg. 750 bonus points for a $50 spend, as opposed to 250 bonus points for a $40 spend.

Seriously JV? You think he's made this up or you just need to see the pretty pictures.. I don't get it?.. Move on…

        • I read the rule, and I don't understand what rule has been broken. Specials aren't going to be listed 4 days before they begin on the website, so he put the TLD. What's the issue? Genuinely interested.

        • -3

          @jackary:

          I read the rule

          read it again.

        • +3

@jv:Thanks. I did, several times, I'm not illiterate and there's no need to speak to me as such. It's obviously semantics, and I'd love to hear you elaborate further on that.

      • -1

What's to say he didn't make it up?

All one needs is some imagination, plausible prices and next minute we got big upvoted deals for things that don't exist.

        • Well you will see soon enough that I did not make it up and why would I?

        • @aussie28: you sound legit, but sets a slippery precident. Although JV is a pain in the ass sometimes he is correct.

Think, if everyone just said "trust me" without proof, all kinds of BS would sooner or later creep in.

    • +1

You will make a good lawyer JV. Stop wasting your time on Ozbargain.

      • +6

No he won't. Don't get his hopes up.

  • Thinking of buying the Boost Mobile $20 Ultra plan. Does anyone know if the Woolies 10% off Boost recharge still on? Or any other Boost recharge around? Thanks.
